Foaming Bath Whip Creations - Simple Steps for Beginners
By Debbie May Tuesday, July 22, 2014
This helpful guide will show you 'How To Make' Foaming Bath Whip Creations using simple steps for beginners.

1. Preparation

Create a work space that is clean of filth and of a size that prevents contamination from outside sources. Select an area that is not accessible to children and pets. We recommend wearing protective clothing such as an apron, goggles, gloves and a hair net.

2. Prepare The Base

Using the foaming bath whip base, measure 16 oz in a clean and place in a clean glass microwave safe measuring cup. If you are making sugar scrubs you will need to heat the base in the microwave on low heat, at short intervals until liquid.

If you are making shaving cream there is no need to heat the base. Simply whip with a hand mixer until light and fluffy.

3. Incorporate Additives

Fragrance -  Adding scent to your base is easy!  Simply incorporate up to 15 ml or 1/2 Tablespoon of fragrance oil to the base. Stir well.

Color - After you have scented your base it is time to add the color. You can add as much cosmetic color to your base as desired. We like the liquid cosmetic dye colors. Stir well. Note: Do not add so much color that the skin is stained or the soap bubbles are colored.  Soap bubbles should always remain white when the soap is used.

Additional Additives - You can add additional additives to the melted soap base at this time. Make sure you stir them in well. Adding granualted sugar makes a great exfoliating scrub. To make sugar scrub cubes add melt and pour soap base to the sugar scrub so it will harden up.

4. Packaging

Place your sugar scrub in a basic jar with lid. The airless bottle is perfect for shaving cream.

5. Labeling

If selling your products you will need to label with the product name, your company name, contact information, ingredients, directions for use, and product weight.

6. Caution Statement

This product is intended to be crafted by those 15 years or older. You are expected to take full responsibility for your own personal protection and safety including but not limited to the use of protective clothing such as an apron, goggles, gloves and a hair net.
