Recipe Directions

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.
  1. To make the fruit slices weigh and cut up 2.5 oz. of Clear Suspension MP Soap. Place in a glass measuring cup and heat in microwave in 30 second increments until completely melted.
  2. Cut the Crimson Red Wine Mica Color Cube into fourths and add one piece to the melted soap. Stir until the heat from the melted soap melts the color piece.
  3. In a plastic beaker, mix 1.5 ml fragrance oil with 0.75 ml Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Mix together and let sit for 2 minutes. Add to melted soap and stir.
  4. Place the Tropical Leaf Mold (MW 259) on a flat surface and begin filling  just the bottom of each cavity. You will have some soap left over, this will be used later to make more. Let harden, remove the soaps and refill as many cavities as you can until all of the leftover soap has been used. If the soap should harden, heat in microwave for 20 second increments to remelt.
  5. Weigh and cut up another 2.5 oz. of Clear Suspension MP Soap. Place in a glass measuring cup and heat in microwave in 30 second increments until completely melted.
  6. Add (3) 0.15 ml micro size scoops of Red Orange Oil Locking Mica Powder and stir until the color has blended into the melted soap.
  7. In a plastic beaker, mix 1.5 ml fragrance oil with 0.75 ml Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Mix together and let sit for 2 minutes. Add to melted soap and stir.
  9. When all the fruit slices have been made, cut in half lengthwise and set aside for later.
  10. Place the Regular Loaf Silicone Mold 1501 on a jelly roll pan to give it stability should it need to be moved. Using a ruler, place a small mark at each 1" marker. This will help you when placing the fruit embeds in the soap.
  11. Weigh and cut up 15 oz. Clear Suspension MP Soap. Place in a glass measuring cup and heat in microwave until soap has completely melted.
  12. In a plastic beaker, mix 12 ml fragrance with 6 ml Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Mix together and let sit for 2 minutes. Add to melted soap and stir.
  13. Cut the Fruit Punch Red Mica Color Cube in half and add one piece to the melted soap. Mix well until the color piece has melted. If any color cube remains, place the measuring cup back into the microwave and heat in 10 second increments until color has completely melted.
  14. Pour the pink soap into the bottom of the loaf mold. Spray the top with rubbing alcohol to pop any surface bubbles and let soap harden.
  15. Weigh and cut up 15 oz. of Clear Suspension Soap Base and place in a glass measuring cup. Heat in microwave until soap has completely melted.
  16. In a plastic beaker, mix 12 ml fragrance oil with 6 ml Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Mix together and let sit for 2 minutes. Add to melted soap and stir.
  17. Cut the Sexy Pink Slipper Soap Color Cube into 4 pieces and add one piece to the melted soap. Stir until the color has all blended in.
  18. Spritz the soap in the mold with alcohol, then pour half of the soap mixture into the mold when the melted soap temperatue is below 130ºF. Spritz the fruit slices with rubbing alcohol, and when the melted soap thickens slightly, add one orange and one red slice in between the 1" markers. You will have leftover slices that will be used later.
  19. Spritz the top of the soap with rubbing alcohol after the slices have been placed and pour in the remaining soap. Spritz again with alcohol and let harden.
  20. Cut up the remaining fruit slices into chunks and set aside.
  21. Weigh and cut up 12 oz. Clear Suspension Soap Base and place in a glass measuring cup. Heat in microwave until the soap has melted.
  22. In a plastic beaker, mix 3 ml fragrance oil with 1.5 ml stabilizer. Mix together and let sit for 2 minutes. Add to melted soap and stir.
  23. Using a hand mixer, start to whip the melted soap just until it starts to thicken slightly. If the soap is whipped too much, it will harden and will need to be remelted.
  24. Spritz the top of the soap in the mold with rubbing alcohol and then pour the whipped soap over the top. Quickly spritz the colored soap pieces with rubbing alcohol and place into the whipped topping. Sprinkle the top with (2-3) 0.15 ml micro size scoops of Iridescent Super Sparkle Glitter. Let soap completely harden.
  25. Once soap has completely hardened, carefully remove from the mold. Using a mitre box, if available, cut the soap loaf into 1" slices.
  26. Wrap in airtight packaging and label product accordingly.
