RECIPE: Coffee and Brown Sugar Scrub

Wake up your skin with this wonderfully beneficial and fragrant scrub.  Coffee grounds and brown sugar offer gentle exfoliation while the almond, olive and Vitamin E oils soften and moisturize the skin.

Ingredients

  • 2 Pound(s) Foaming Bath Whip
  • 4 Cup(s) Brown Sugar - Raw Demerara Crystals
  • 4 Ounce(s) Olive Oil - Extra Virgin
  • 8 Ounce(s) Sweet Almond Oil - Refined
  • 2 Ounce(s) Vitamin E Natural T-50
  • 4 Teaspoon(s) Phenonip
  • 4 Teaspoon(s) Vanilla Hazelnut Fragrance Oil 469
  • 10 Tablespoon(s) Fresh Dry Coffee Grounds
  • 10 Piece(s) 8 oz Clear Heavy Wall Plastic Jar - 89/400
  • 10 Piece(s) 89/400 Black Straight Top Cap - F217 Liner

Recipe Directions

  1. NOTE:  If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace. 
  2. Weigh 16 oz. of Crafter's Choice Foaming Bath Whip and place in glass bowl.
  3. With hand mixer, blend on medium speed until fluffy.
  4. Add 2 cups Brown Sugar – Raw Demerara Crystals, mixing after each cup.
  5. Add 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil, 8 Tablespoons Almond Oil, 2 Tablespoons Vitamin E and mix well.
  6. Add 5 Tablespoons of fresh dry coffee grounds.
  7. Add 2 teaspoons Phenonip and 2 teaspoons Crafter's Choice Vanilla Hazelnut Fragrance Oil.  Mix ingredients well.
  8. Package in jars and label accordingly.
  9. Repeat to make remaining 40 oz. of product.
