RECIPE: Glowing Facial Scrub

This scrub is packed full of nourishing ingredients that will leave your face glowing and smooth. The wheat germ oil leaves skin feeling moisturized so there is no need to follow up with lotion.

Ingredients

  • 16 Ounce(s) Foaming Bath Whip
  • 3 Ounce(s) Wheat Germ Oil
  • 1.5 Teaspoon(s) Tomato Powder
  • 1/3 Cup(s) Lemon Peel Granules
  • 1/3 Cup(s) Poppy Seeds
  • 9 Ounce(s) Brown Sugar - Raw Demerara Crystals
  • 2 Tablespoon(s) Lemon EO- Certified 100% Pure 140
  • 3.5 ml(s) Germaben II E
  • 6 Piece(s) 4 oz Clear Heavy Wall Plastic Jar - 70/400
  • 6 Piece(s) 70/400 White Straight Top Cap - F217 Liner

Recipe Directions

  1. NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.
  2. Weigh out 16 oz. of Foaming Bath Whip and place in a large glass mixing bowl.
  3. Recipe calls for Raw Brown Sugar. This is also known as Turbinado Sugar. This can be found in your local grocery store. Nine ounces will equal 1 cup + 2 Tablespoons.
  4. Add all ingredients except Lemon Essential Oil and Germaben II E. Mix well.
  5. Add 2 Tablespoons of Lemon Essential Oil and 3.5 ml. of Germaben II E preservative to mixture and blend in.
  6. Package into 4 oz. jars. Label according to FDA guidelines.
