Recipe Directions

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To metal pot, add beeswax and 8.60 oz. avocado oil. Melt on stovetop or hot plate and remove from heat.
  2. Add murumuru butter, aloe butter blend, fragrance and vitamin E and allow the heat of the oil and wax to melt the butters.
  3. To small bowl, add 1 oz. avocado oil and aloe vera powder. Use mini mixer and mix until well blended. Add to pot and mix well.
  4. When ingredients are melted and at 140ºF, pour mixture into each mold cavity. When lotion bars have hardened enough to move, move mold into freezer. Continue to mix ingredients in pot, scraping down the sides as needed. When lotion bars are cool, remove bars from mold and set aside. Repeat until all lotion bars are finished.
  5. Place lotion bars into tins.
  6. Label accordingly.
To Use: Massage onto skin.
