Shea butter has always been known to be very soothing to dry, chapped skin. With the additional benefits of argan oil and frankincense powder, this will be a go-to moisturizer for year-round use.

  •  16 oz. Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
  •  2 oz. Argan Oil
  •  0.10 oz. Frankincense Powder
  •  5 ml(s) Frankincense & Myrrh - EO & FO Blend 594

INCI Ingredient Label: Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Frankincense Powder, Tapioca Starch, Vitamin E, Fragrance.

Recipe Directions

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.
  1. Empty 16 oz. bag of Shea Butter into large glass bowl. Be sure butter is at room temperature.
  2. With a spoon, flatten out any larger pieces so they are softer and easier to whip. 
  3. Add 2 oz. Argan Oil to bowl.
  4. Using hand mixer begin to whip shea butter and oil. Continue until product starts to become fluffy.
  5. Add 0.10 oz. Frankincense Powder and 0.10 oz. Slick Fix and blend in. (Just a small amount of Slick Fix was used for this recipe, if you want a butter that is not as greasy more can be added. It can also be eliminated if desired.) 
  6. Add 5 ml fragrance and 5 ml Vitamin E and continue to whip for about 5 minutes until product becomes fluffy and almost double in size. 
  7. Place an empty jar on scale and tare to zero. Fill jars to 2.8 oz. each.
  8. Place lid on jar and label product accordingly.
