Recipe Directions

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.
  1. Weigh 1 oz. of clear soap and place in a plastic beaker. Heat in microwave until melted, approximately 10-15 seconds or until melted
  2. Add small amounts of Coral Mica Powder and Yellow Mica Powder and stir to mix until desired color is achieved.
  3. Using a plastic dropper, pipe melted soap into the center of the flowers only. Remelt soap if it starts to harden. Pipe flowers in all 3 cavities.
  4. To keep dropper flowing freely, place dropper in glass of warm water when not in use. Squeeze out soap, then fill the dropper with warm water. When ready to use, be sure to empty water from the dropper.
  5. Weigh 1 oz. of clear soap and place in a plastic beaker. Heat in microwave until melted, approx. 8-10 seconds.
  6. Add a small amount of Coral Mica Powder and stir to mix until desired color is achieved.
  7. Using a plastic dropper, pipe melted soap into the petals of the flowers only. Continue with other 2 soap cavities.
  8. Weigh 1 oz. of clear soap and place in a plastic beaker. Heat in microwave until melted, approx. 8-10 seconds.
  9. Add small amounts of Green Mica Powder and Yellow Mica Powder and stir to mix until desired color is achieved.
  10. Using a plastic dropper, pipe melted soap into the stems of the flowers only for all caviites. If soap starts to harden, melt in microwave for about 5 seconds.
  11. Weigh 1 oz. of Crafters Choice Premium Goat Milk soap and place in a plastic beaker. Heat in microwave until melted, approx. 8-10 seconds.
  12. Add a small amount of Blue Mica Powder and stir to mix until desired color is achieved.
  13. Using a plastic dropper, pipe melted soap into the corners of the cross only for all 3 cavities.
  14. When soap has hardened, turn mold over to see the colored details in your soap cavity. If there is any soap overrun, simply take a toothpick, wooden skewer or something with a pointy tip to scrape the extra soap out of areas you do not want colored soap.
  15. Weigh 10 oz. of the Goat Milk soap and cut into small cubes. Place soap in glass measuring cup and heat in microwave until soap has melted.
  16. Using a plastic dropper, add 8.5 ml fragrance oil and stir well.
  17. Check soap temperature to be sure it is at or below 125°F. Otherwise, the hot soap can melt the colored soap already poured.
  18. Using a plastic bottle with sprayer, spritz the inside of each soap cavity well with alcohol. This will ensure the goat milk soap will adhere to the colored details.
  19. Pour melted goat milk soap slowly into each cavity until it reaches the top. Spritz, again, with alcohol to release any surface air bubbles.
  20. After soaps set for about 10 minutes, place mold in freezer for about 20 minutes until soap completely hardens. This will help the soap release easily from mold.
  21. When soap has hardened, carefully remove from mold. Repeat about steps to make next 3 bars. You may have leftover colored soap from 1st batch of soaps.
