Orange Furniture Polish Recipe
Author: Wholesale Supplies Plus
Thursday, January 19, 2017

This oil works wonderfully as a cleaner and furniture polish. It not only helps clean the furniture but also will help to keep it looking new and bring out the wood's natural beauty! Our recipe uses Brazilian Sweet Orange Essential Oil for a clean citrus scent.

Recipe Directions

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.
  1. Place measuring cup on digital scale and tare to zero. Add 8 oz. white vinegar and 4 oz. pomace olive oil.
  2. Add 0.15 oz. (5 ml) essential oil and stir with whisk.
  3. Add 0.50 oz. polysorbate 80. Stir with wire whisk until all ingredients are well blended.
  4. Place empty bottle on scale and tare to zero. Immediately pour product into bottle, fill each to 4 oz. Divide any remaining product between the three.
  5. Place yorker caps on bottles.
  6. Label product accordingly.
  7. TO USE: SHAKE WELL before each use as product will settle in bottle! Pour a small amount onto a clean cloth and rub into your wood furniture. If desired, follow up with a second clean cloth to polish and shine.
