Wholesale Supplies Plus, Inc. certifies that this fragrance product is in compliance with the standards of the International Fragrance Association, provided the fragrance is used in the above application (s) at the noted maximum concentration level(s).
The "Maximum Use Level for Skin Exposure" is the amount of fragrance, flavor and essential oil that can come in contact with the skin. It does not mean that your base product can perform at these levels. You must test each oil in each application for evaluation of desired performance. Baby products have lower use levels than those listed above. If a desired application is not listed above, please call us at 1-800-359-0944 for maximum skin levels for skin exposure.
Scent is one of the most powerful of our five senses. Smelling a fragrance can trigger a treasured memory and provoke enjoyable thoughts. When designing products, consider how your customers will use your products. Will they be washed off? Will they be used to fragrance a home? Will they be used in conjunction with other products and how will those scents smell when combined? Consider complimenting your scent with coordinating colors.

Directions: To Determine The Amount of Fragrance Oil Used In A Product:
The amount of fragrance that should be used in a formulation depends on three factors:
1) The maximum amount of scent the product base will accept .
2) The maximum IFRA skin safe level.
3) The amount of fragrance that smells good in your product.
You will look at these three maximum guidelines and use the LOWEST percentage.
For example: Desired smell is 5%, making MP soap is 3%, and the IFRA max use is 15%. You should not use more than 3% in your product. This 3% is the lowest of all of those numbers.
Maximum Product Base Guidelines:
MP Soap: 3% CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6% Lotions and Scrubs: 1 – 2% Bath Salts, Fizziest & Tub Soaks: 5-10% Candle Wax: 6-12% (see specific wax for exact levels)
To Determine The IFRA Guidelines:
IFRA is a self-regulating trade organization that together with the industry's scientific center RIFM (the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials), establishes usage safety standards for materials that comprise fragrance and essential oils. Each year IFRA updates their standards based on sound science.
Wholesale Supplies Plus updates IFRA documents annually so that customers can stay up-to-date with the latest science. If you find IFRA levels have changed for your formula, it is standard to take 2 years to update products in the market. You can find Wholesale Supplies Plus IFRA documents on the “documents” tab of this product page.
Fragrance oils that contain vanilla or vanillin will change color. The color change can take days, weeks, or months and can vary from a light ivory to dark brown. Our Crafter’s Choice Vanilla Color Stabilizers and Crafter’s Choice Vanilla Color Neutralizer will prevent some products from changing color. Oils that are dark in color, contain floral notes or spices may in time naturally change color.
COMMENTS: Very disappointed. I was so looking forward to adding this to my fall line. Has a alcohol scent with a bit of honey. I do not smell apples at all. Added to a batch of sugar scrubs the alcohol scent dissipated but still no Apple. Not sure what I will do with it. Probably add it with something stronger. Wasted my money on this one
COMMENTS: So, first off. This scent is amazing! Which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 3. If you plan on using this for CP Soap get ready for it to move FAST (as in really, really, really fast!) I thought after reading the reviews I was prepared for a fast moving fragrance oil, simple swirl, soaped at about 80 degrees. This scent proved me wrong. I barely had time to get it in the mold before it set up. Because this scent it so lovely , I could see myself ordering it again and using it just for bath bombs, salts, etc. Just won't be using it again for CP soap!
COMMENTS: This one has become one of my personal favorites. A very pretty, comforting scent. Definitely going to be repurchasing!

I Recommend This Product!
"Holy soap on a stick!"
COMMENTS: I still gave 4 stars because I don't think a 3 should be given for a otherwise 5 star item just because of one issue. It's a fabulous fragrance but it seriously moves FAST in cold process. I forgot about the reviews here and just went for it.. it was ok for a min or two then bam.. out of no where it started to sieze and I was mashing into my 8 lb mold!! Lucky I had some non fragrance set aside with color to cover the awful looking top. I'm still ok though cause it smells so amazing and I'll make it work better next time. Love it in body spray and lotion too.

"Sit down, Shut up and Hold on!"
COMMENTS: This one MOVES in CP, moves to the point that my double batch with only 3% FO had to be mashed into the molds. I was concerned with how quickly it went to chunky applesauce that it might not be mixed very well. I appear to have been right to be concerned. It's overheating and leaking. I'll be re-batching when my crock pot is free.
Previously I used this in a lotion bar with no discoloration and a lovely scent, but definitely not recommended for CP. Maybe if you add the FO at the VERY, VERY last and plan on a single color. I have a feeling that adding it at trace still would have ended up with terrible ricing.
It's too bad it behaves so badly in CP it's a lovely fragrance. (This is why I gave it 2 stars instead of only 1)
COMMENTS: I am very much of a beginner, but I wanted to make a honey soap with added shea butter or coconut oil. I've already made 2 batches, and I am still experimenting, but I used this scent in both and I am very pleased with it. It adds a nice warm honey scent (can't really smell apples) to your honey bases without being too sweet or cloying. The bases have a very mild honey scent (especially the dark amber, which you no longer seem to sell) but I felt they needed some help. I've had very good feedback on this scent, and it seems to hold well in the bar.

I Recommend This Product!
COMMENTS: This is a nice fragrance, however, not quite what I was hoping for. I was wanting it to smell more like the Johnson's baby lotion.

I Recommend This Product!
COMMENTS: This is a new fall must have. I've never smelled anything quite like it and it's very hard to describe. I thought maybe it would be like an apple cider with some honey notes but it's definitely not. Instead, I think of honey crisp apples, drizzle in honey and then dashed with vanilla. The tonka bean gives it a nice depth in the back. It's fall, it's sexy and I think men and women will both love it.
