"I ordered this to use in linen and room sprays. It has a really pleasant smell. I like that it is not just a plain ""clean cotton"" smell. It incorporates well into linen spray (I use the multi-spray concentrate and a fragrance oil modifier). It leaves a long lasting and great smell."

Great neutralizer

"It's a bit strong, so I can use it at 2 - 3% for a linen/room spray. It has a sort of ""neutral"" clean smell - I imagine most people would enjoy it and I'm going to make my sister a room spray, as she has a puppy who sometimes has accidents. I also use it at work to very quickly clear out anything unpleasant. Works in seconds, it seems. These are very different than the regular fragrance oil - they definitely clear out the smells you don't want to sniff, rather than just covering them up."

"Not sure I would decribe this as a fresh cotton scent, it's more like the sharp salty sea air itself mingled with the scent of seagrass, light florals and old cedarwood. Nice and clean, not too perfumy. Strong like all the others in this category and works well at removing odors but, like the others, will give me a headache if I use more than just a very small amount. Wish they would come out with a nice soft clean linen scent that won't give me a headache so I can freshen up all my furniture and rugs (like the Glade fabric spray that's been discontinued) because I would definitely give that one five stars."

Very Clean Scent used in CP Soap

"I've read the other reviews and definitely agree that this very assertive, but clean scent would be perfect used in sprays. I ordered it for CP goat milk soap. It accelerated like crazy (it seems like all my soaps accelerate, no matter the FO or EO) and riced a bit. I dealt with it quickly and managed to get it poured before complete seizing. Eight weeks later, the soap has retained the fragrance like no other! I used the maximum parentage in my soap recipe since I prefer strongly scented soaps. This one really delivered and I'm quite happy with the finished product."

can this be used in deodorant making products?: Yes, you can find our IFRA usage levels on the product page to help formulate.
My daughter has gluten ataxia and even the tiniest amount of gluten causes a reaction. The big name odor neutralizing sprays have gluten in their preservatives. Are your odor neutralizing FO's gluten free? Thank you in advance for your response.: All our odor neutralizing fragrances are gluten-free.
What is the IFRA for Pets for this fragrance oil?: The IFRA for pet shampoo is 8%
I did not realize that Crafters Choice™ Seaside Cotton Odor Neutralizing FO is better suited for room spray. I bought it for CP but after reading the reviews I learned it does not work in CP. You should change the name to Neutralizing Room Spray instead of "FO". Anyway, how do I make this room spray?: Our Body Splash Base works very well as a base for a Room Freshening Spray. This base has received very high reviews from other customers.
what do you suggest Odor Neutralizing FO's are added too?: Our Odor Neutralizing fragrances make great linen sprays, candles, wax tarts, reed diffusers and pet products.
