Chocolate Milkshake Soap Recipe

Yield: 8 Bars  |  Est. Time: 2 Hours  |  Level: Easy

About This Recipe:
This recipe creates soap bars that smell and look like chocolate milkshakes. The soap is molded in a tall and skinny loaf to resemble chocolate milkshakes in an old-fashioned fountain soda glasses. A fun paper straw* completes the look.

  1. To measuring cup, add 32 oz. soap and melt in microwave.
  2. In beaker, mix fragrance and vanilla color stabilizer and allow mixture to sit for two minutes.
  3. Add fragrance and color to melted soap and mix well.
  4. Pour into mold and allow soap to harden.
  5. In measuring cup, add 12 oz. soap and melt in microwave. Whip with hand mixer. When soap is 120ºF or cooler, spray the soap in the mold with rubbing alcohol and pour the whipped soap. Allow the soap to partially harden.
  6. Cut straws** in half. Use a ruler and place the first straw ½” inch from the edge of the mold into the melted soap and space the next straws each 1” apart.  Allow soap to fully harden.
  7. Remove soap from mold and slice into bars.
  8. Wrap soap in plastic wrap.
  9. Label accordingly.
To Use: Remove straws before use. Lather onto wet skin and rinse off.
