Create A Contrasting Pattern + Commit to It
Once you’ve decided on a recipe, fragrance and colors, preparation is key. Since there are so many colors and layers involved it is best to have everything organized before mixing. We soaped at room temperature and made sure to have all of our additives measured and set aside. We also premixed each of our colorants, and prepared our mold and column before mixing our batter. Mix your batter to a very light trace and stir your fragrance oil in with a spatula or spoon. Then, split the batter between your premixed colorants. Quickly blend each color, being careful not to bring the soap beyond a light trace.
