Our "No-Stir" Palm Shortening is made from 100% Palm Oil. This oil has a reduced fatty acid content so that it is more stable and has a thick, luxurious texture.  It can be easily scooped for measuring. Palm oil is the largest natural source of tocotrienol, part of the Vitamin E family. Popular in cold and hot process soap making because it produces a big, fluffy lather. Our natural Palm Oil tends to turn a deep orange color when melted.

Apricot Oil is used for its softening and moisturizing properties and is therefore recommended for skin that is dry or cracked. This Oil is all natural, expeller pressed and has virtually no scent. Use apricot oil in face creams, lotions, body oils and soaps!

Palm Kernel Flakes is an oil in a solid flake form. Commonly used up to 15% in cold and hot process soap making recipes because it boosts lather. Palm Kernel Flakes typically speed up trace in CP Soap. Use this oil in wax tarts and wickless candles, too!

Glycerin is humectant that absorbs moisture from the air and when diluted with water, can soften dry skin. You can use this product in soaps and lotions. We most commonly use Glycerin to incorporate powdered color in soaps!

This Aloe Vera Oil is made from the maceration and processing of the Aloe Vera plant in mineral oil and coconut oil. This blend is thought to soothe the skin while providing glide and protecting it from outside elements. Use this clear Aloe Vera Oil in after-sun lotions to add extra moisturizing properties. This blend is also a great addition to many bath and body products, such as soaps, bath fizzies and even hair products.

 Coconut Oil 92 Degree (92° Coconut Oil) Always a top soap making oil! Used to make soap lather well and produce harder bars of soap.  Coconut Oil 92 Degree, also known as Hydrogenated Coconut Oil or 92° Coconut Oil, is refined, bleached, deodorized (RBD) and fully hydrogenated, resulting in a bland white to off-white coconut oil without the more typical coconut aroma. Coconut Oil 92 Degree possesses unusual properties that make it unique among oils. It has a higher melting point (92°F), is highly stable against oxidation, and has a low viscosity when compared with other oils. The hydrogenation process involved in the process of Coconut 92 Degree decreases the content of unsaturated fatty acids which are already naturally low in coconut oil. Why use 92° Coconut Oil in soap? One benefit the 92° Coconut Oil has over the more typical 76° coconut oil is that it will produce a harder bar of soap, and the soap will last longer. If you want to make a harder soap bar or if your soap bars are not curing to the hardness you would like, or not curing as quickly as you would like, try 92° Coconut Oil in place of your 76° coconut oil.
