NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
- To make 6 bars of soap, this recipe will need to be made twice.
- To beaker, add 1 oz. white soap and heat in microwave in 10-second increments until melted.
- Spritz inside of mold with rubbing alcohol. With a plastic dropper, drop white soap into the details of the mold. The alcohol helps disperse the melted soap easily into the details. To keep soap free flowing in dropper, place in cup of warm water and fill up when not in use. Remove water before next use.
- To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 13 oz. white soap and 0.10 oz. blue color block. Heat in microwave until melted.
- To clean beaker, mix 0.40 oz. fragrance and 0.20 oz. vanilla color stabilizer. After two minutes, add to melted soap and stir well.
- When blue soap has cooled to 125ºF, spray white soap with rubbing alcohol and pour soap into mold.
- Allow soap to harden and remove from mold. Place mold in freezer for 20-30 minutes if soap is difficult to unmold.
- Wrap soap in plastic wrap or other airtight packaging.
- Repeat above to make second set of soaps.
- Label accordingly.
