Staff Answer Horsetail Butter has a soft solid consistency, so replacing this with the harder kokum or mango butter will result in a very different consistency. Adding more of a base oil might help soften the batch should you make this substitution. We recommend testing all substitutions in a small batch before making a larger batch for retail. You alone are responsible for product and recipe testing to ensure compatibility

"Can you suggest an idea of a range of price points for these individual jars of Body Butter? Does this product need a Safety Alert regarding Nuts? "

Staff Answer Our suggested retail price is $10.95 a jar, but this really varies on location and your customers. It may be wise to include that this product contains nuts on your label, however, we do not have strong knowledge in this area, you will have to do research for regulations in the area yo live in.

In order to fill the jars with 4.5 ounces are you using the scale as you fill? Do you offer the smaller{ounces}beakers for sale?"

Staff Answer We are so very glad you found us, too! To fill the jars, place one jar on the scale and tare to zero. Then, fill with 4.5 oz. of product.
