COMMENTS: This recipe is fast and easy, however I would have done things a little differently. It's a good thing I ordered another lip balm kit with this one that had left over tube, however they do not match. This recipe definitely makes more than 16 tube. I got about 20. I found it easier to cut the end off of a pipette and pipe the scrubs into the tube that way, vs pouring into them. You get less bubbles that way too. I wish I would have ommited the ezcolor thing for a gingerbread mica. I also would have preferred the round tubes over the oval

"Sugar gets stuck in twist mechanism "
COMMENTS: The recipe and ingredients are wonderful, however the instructions say to check each tube 30 minutes after pouring because the sugar might get stuck in the twisting mechanism. At the 30 minute mark, only one of my tubes easily twisted with my fingers. I now have blisters on my thumb from trying to twist and 8 working containers and 8 that actually had the twisting mechanism break off at the base or pop out of the scrub. Product either needs a different component or to be checked earlier than 30 minutes per the instructions.

"Smells amazing, makes more than expected"
COMMENTS: This was very simple to make, though it took a little practice to get the technique down for getting it into the tubes. Make sure you tap out the air bubbles really well and reheat every few tubes to make it easier. I followed the recipe directions and my batch made 22 tubes (I was really glad I had bought extra!). It smells absolutely divine and is very moisturizing. I will definitely be using this recipe again! Be ready to be a little covered in it by the end and clean the outside of the tubes really well after.

"Lip scrub in a tube"
COMMENTS: Although I love the recipe for the latte lip scrub, it seems like the sugar messes with the twisting mechanism in the lip balm tube. I have an extremely hard time twisting it to push it up. I wish it moved up smoothly like a lip balm. I was wondering if adding a beeswax might help it form better. Any suggestions? I have just dug it out of the tube to use which works fine, but not great for retail purposes. I love the idea of a scrub/ lip balm set for gifts.
