Q&A

Is this safe for use in products around the eye?
When used as directed, this product is safe in products used around the eyes (avoiding direct eyeball contact).
Is AMTicide and Leucidal SF Max safe to use to preserve water based lip products?
Yes, AMTicide and Leucidal SF Max can be used to preserve water-based lip products
I am interested in using AMTicide for its ingredients to support skin microbiome, rather than solely as a preservative. Could you provide more details on its usage rates and concentration for a skin biome formulation? Also, are there any pH or formulation considerations for this specific use?
We have not used this product for a skin biome formulation. But the Recommended use level: 2% - 4%.
For body wash/ liquid soap, what is the combination ratio of Amticide coconut to Leucidal liquid to use?
The ideal mixing ratio of Amticide Coconut and Leucidal Liquid for body wash or liquid soap is 4% each. Amticide Coconut serves as a preservative that combats fungal growth, while Leucidal Liquid acts as an antimicrobial preservative that also provides moisturizing and conditioning benefits. When used together, they effectively guard against yeast and mold.Noted when utilizing Amticide Coconut and Leucidal Liquid together:*Keep an eye on how Amticide Coconut interacts with other ingredients to ensure compatibility. *Add Amticide Coconut to your formulations at a pH level between 3 and 8, during the cooling phase, and at temperatures below 70°C. *To calculate the amount of preservative needed for your product, take the weight of your product, multiply it by the usage rate percentage, and then divide that result by 100.
can this be used in emulsified body butters? if so do i need to add the Leucidal Liquid or Leucidal Liquid SF. what are the percentages and when would i add it? thank you
