COMMENTS: The oil was nice, but it would be nice if the packaging weren't quite as tall. Its packaged as a liquid oil, but arrived rock solid. The bottle was too tall to fit in my microwave, so melting the oil, but not the plastic bottle, in a double boiler was a bit challenging.

"Performs well, smells a tad off."
COMMENTS: The touch & texture of this oil was exactly what I hoped for. It performed as described. However, I was looking for oils to put into my product that would not have a smell, so that they wouldn't overpower or morph the scent I planned to add in. When smelling the container & rubbing between my fingers I noticed a "fried donut" kind of smell. It smelled like cooking grease & sweet, a fried donut is the best example I could come up with. I did use the oil anyway, hoping it wouldn't come thru, but after the scent of my fragrance oil subsided, I was left with a lingering donut smell :( I may buy it again hoping that was a fluke..

"I love this oil"
COMMENTS: I love the properties this oil provides however, I am not thrilled with how it is packaged. During these cold months it is solid as a rock and wont pour out of the bottle. I end up having to microwave or put in warm water to get it to pour. I have not used this in the warm months so I do not know if this is a problem then. But it seems it could be put in a jar to scoop out if it is solid in the warm months too. When I melt it in the bottle the bottle seems like it might melt if I was not very careful. I only microwave for 20 seconds at a time to keep an eye on it.

COMMENTS: I use a little of this in my homemade shaving cream that I make with the Crafters Choice foaming bath whip. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth without any greasy feeling. Can thicken up after sitting for a little while but blends well with the foaming bath whip to make the best shaving cream I’ve ever used!! The bottles were small so I bought three of them but I found it doesn’t take much so I’m still using my first bottle. I can’t wait to try it in other recipes!!

"Favorite Oil of All Time"
COMMENTS: I use this oil in almost any product requiring a base oil. Body Lotions, Face Creams, Bath Fizzy's, Hair Conditioners, any product is better with Babassu! I've tried many recipes without Babassu but I always come back and add it if I make it again, It absorbs so quickly and leaves a smooth soft feel that can't be beat. Thankfully it is reasonably priced for a semi-specialty oil so I add it to everything. Plus a little goes a long way, 5% is plenty to feel the difference it makes in a recipe! My favorite combo of all time is Babassu, Safflower and Rice Bran, a trio made in heaven! I have many oils but I always come back to these three! Packaging would be better in a tub instead of a bottle. I always melt it and pour it into a tub for easier access, but small inconvenience for such a wonderful oil! Just plan ahead and melt it in some warm water and you won't want to be without it too!

COMMENTS: I love this oil! I use it in most lotion bars because it helps with greasy after feel. It also gives a luxury appeal to customers. The only problem I found is the 16oz bottle is hard to get it out & when melting down in bottle, it overflows. But other than that, great oil!

"Light Oil that is easily absorbed"
COMMENTS: I used this in my lotion bars. This oil allows for a bar that easily melts with body heat, and it is light. I was impressed by how easily this oil is absorbed by the skin. Makes my skin feel soft.

"Love this in body butter"
COMMENTS: This babassu oil was a great addition to body butter. Nice and silky and quickly absorbed into skin.
My only suggestion would be that the one pound size is in a bottle and requires to be warmed to get out of bottle. Short bursts in microwave on low helped.

"OMG"
COMMENTS: If you have not tried this butter - then it is a MUST at some point - its is heaven! Sinks in like a dream - you cannot imagine. There are no words and very few butters that have this feel… I am not sure I know of any yet.

COMMENTS: First time using this oil and I love it. I started with the 2oz, but wished I had gotten more. It was solid when I opened but warm it a little and easily came out of the bottle.

COMMENTS: This is really great in lotion bars, and body butters. Although I wish it would have came in a jar not in a bottle.
COMMENTS: I especially love this oil in lotion bars. It really makes the skin soft. Due to the very cold weather right now, it was a little bit of work warming the bottle up when I received it, to get the oil out. All in all, it was well worth it because this is a very good oil on the skin.

"For a Harder Bar of Soap"
COMMENTS: I tried out this oil because I needed an oil that would help create a hard bar of soap, but that also wasn't too yellow because I wanted a vibrant color. This oil fit the bill and made a very nice bar of soap. In fact I had to rush the curing processes on this batch and still even with only two weeks to cure the soap was mild and left skin feeling smooth and soft. Though I know the other ingredients I used (coconut oil, mango oil, shea butter, jojoba) also helped make this bar wonderful, I have used all of these ingredients before and not gotten quite this nice of a result. Though this is a bit more costly I expect I will be using it in many more batches of soap.

"Love this oil!"
COMMENTS: Works equally well in CP soap as in lotions and salves. This oil has almost no scent, so it doesn't interfere with added EO's or FO's. A wonderful oil that softens skin. It's thicker, with similar properties as coconut oil. I didn't care for the packaging, since it needs to be melted to get it out of the smaller containers. Packaging this oil in a jar as opposed to a bottle would be preferred.
COMMENTS: Great oil that mixes well with other oils for that perfect blend my customers love!

"Love this oil!"
COMMENTS: I love this oil! I use it in my charcoal face soap and it just makes it 10 times better than anything else. Easily absorbed, makes great lather! The only thing I didn't like was the way it was packaged. This oil gets very hard, making it great for soaps, but was packaged in a bottle. This made it a pain to get out, I kept having to stick the whole bottle in the microwave. I think it would do better in a tub. Otherwise, a perfect product!
