To use, simply pack each side firmly with bath bomb mixture, being sure to overpack with extra in the center to bind it together, then press the 2 sides together. Use as much pressure as possible and give a little twist motion as you're screwing them together for a compact, tight bomb. Prior to closing, match up the eyelets and clean off any mixture from the seams. Tips and tricks for making and unmolding perfect bombs: A trick for cleaning the seams is to wet a Q-tip with witch hazel. Make sure your mixture is damp enough. Adding extra butter or liquid oil is key to creating a mixture that binds well and unmolds easily. Gently pack each half, then mound a bit more in the middle. Cram the two halves together and line up the eyelets. Allow the bath bombs to rest a couple hours and then open them up to dry. This is very important! If you leave the bombs in the molds and try to open them at a later time, that's a big mistake that will cause them to stick to the molds and you will have to chip them out. If mixture seems a little dry, add a dash of 91% isopropyl alcohol. During the dry winter months, this should work. During the humid summer, you may need to decrease the water by half, or quit making bath bombs altogether if it’s raining non-stop. To clean, Wash molds in warm soapy water. Avoid placing in dishwasher as this can cause them to become brittle and susceptible to cracking. Hot dish water may warp the molds.
