Directions:

DIRECTIONS: This powder disperses best in water and water based products. For dry products, add desired amount of color to dry ingredients. Incorporate color to formula slowly, using amount as desired. Adding this color to a white base will produce a beautiful pastel color. Adding this color to a clear base will produce a darker true color.

TIPS: Using too much color may cause staining. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.

"I have tried other colorant from here and other places. I LOVE these. These are the ONLY colorant that does not leave a ring. Why is that? What makes these not leave a ring. "I made bath bombs with this color and had my son's girlfriend try it. It turned her body and bathtub yellow. She was able to get it off with a shower and rubbing. I used Shea butter in my recipe along with grape seed oil. What did I do wrong? Thanks for any help in solving this for the future. "

"Since this disburses in oil, how will it act in a bomb in a water filled bath tub? Will it float on top like mica? Fd&c water soluble colorants work great in the tub because they color and dissolve, but because there is no water in my bomb recipe they are too difficult to incorporate. Im hoping to use a lake, and still get the color to dissolve in the tub."

"Hello, If I want to blend these powder colors - ie yellow and blue to make green, how can you do this? I have tried previously with another brand, but I could only get it to work by adding them both to oil. Am I doing something wrong? I am currently using water based Colors and they are not very bright and I am sure they are causing problems with my bombs. I dont want to pay shipping to the UK to find I have the same blending issue. Appreciate your guidance :-) "

"Beautiful in Bath Bombs"

COMMENTS: I've only used this in bath bombs. I was planning to use lemongrass EO, thinking that the color would be more of a lemon yellow once mixed into the recipe. Instead, it became a beautiful orange color, so I switched gears and used sweet orange EO. Perfect! As with the other Bath Bomb Colors, a little goes a long way. The color intensified a bit overnight. Just something to keep in mind.

COMMENTS: I tested the color alone in a mini mix of bath bomb. I'm personally not into pure yellow as a bath color but wow! Hello pigment! I do however use this with the other bath bomb powders and it works fantastically. Just as all the other BB powders I have bought from WSP, they create vibrant colors. I love a bright, almost neon, kind of bath and they all do the trick including this yellow! I also use a lot of color (probably more than I should sometimes haha) but have yet to experience any leftover color in the tub! No ring or residue trail left in the tub and did not stain my skin.

COMMENTS: From my experience, I prefer to use only these Lake colors to color all my bath bombs, bubble bars/scoops & bath fizzies. Not only are the colors vibrant but they turn your bath water the same awesome predominate color. They come in your basic primary colors that you can mix to create any color you wish. WSP has the best price I have found anywhere. I always add polysorbate 80 to my mix & I haven't had any problems with the color sticking to my bathtub. Of course, you always need to start with a clean bathtub because most any mica will stick to soap scum regardless of what you add. My experience with other micas is that they don't always disperse as well even with the addition of poly 80.

COMMENTS: I actually haven't had a chance to use this in bath bombs yet. However, I tried it in my blood orange & goji cold process soap. I found it turns a little orange so it worked out great. I mixed it with a little of the bath bomb red and the color came out perfect for my CP soap.

"sunshine in a jar"

COMMENTS: what a wonderful product. i use this yellow dye in my lotions and body cream products and i am in love with the hue of yellow. reminds me of sunshine in a jar. my customer loves it too. I only had to use just a small amount to get the results i was after. will be using and buying more.

"Easy to Use, Very True Yellow"

COMMENTS: Bought this since I've heard that lakes are one of the best bets for bath bombs and this is definitely the case. The more you use, the brighter the yellow is, but even if you only use a little bit, it still makes the bath bombs and the bath water a pretty, buttery yellow color. Will definitely have to buy in a larger size!

"Bath Bomb Yellow Powder Color"

COMMENTS: Very vibrant color. You won't need to use very much. Left some color in the tub but it can be easily wiped out. If you want bright color then this is for you. I suggest not using very much.

"Favorite Yellow for Bath Bombs"

COMMENTS: I really like these bath bomb colors! They mix very well into my dry mix before I add liquid. They are combinable to create other colors. I have even used them in CP after mixing with a little water. I will keep using these.

"Great Color!"

COMMENTS: I just used this colorant for the first time in a batch of bath bombs. The color was AMAZING! I used a little more than I had of another color previously because I'm trying to see the difference in color variations possible. The powdered colorants give a much deeper color in these products than the liquids - I think. Now, I don't know which is better - the playing - or the result. Thank you WSP for my new toys! I'm a very happy crafter!
