| COMMENTS: Smells great! I have used it in shave soaps for my dad and he loves it. Says that it smells like the Col. Conk's Bay Rum. Saw very slight discoloration, but it may have just been of the uncolored soap. I would repurchase, but the only thing I don't like about this fragrance oil is the price.

| COMMENTS: I have used this Bay Rum for a long time. I use it in a recipe with Bear Fat that eats the fragrances, but this Bay Rum REALLY holds up well !! For years I have used 6% in my recipes and customers with sensitive skin LOVE this soap. The fragrance lasts forever in my hot process soaps! I highly recommend it!
P.S. I miss the 10 pound jugs!

"Not what I expected." |
| COMMENTS: First up out of the bottle the fragrance didn't at all remind me of true Bay Rum, but I used it anyway assuming that would change in the soap since the reviews were excellent. I found it took more FO than I had expected, the fragrance was still light and while relatively pleasant still smells nothing like Bay Rum of old to me. I get no Bay Leaf scent and not really orange either. Now hoping it will improve with curing. Won't buy Crafter's Choice brand of this fragrance again.

"Amazing. Made for men but women love it too!" |
| COMMENTS: I ordered a nearly identical fragrance from a manufacturer that clients went bananas for. I made soap, aftershave, and other products with it, every person who smelled the soap I made with it was in heaven, many asked for other products using the fragrance.
This has a nice spicy, slightly smoky aroma that mellows out to a botanical, soft undertone. I made soap with the original 4 years ago and they are still just as fragrant as the day I un-molded them. Held up very well in cold process soap.
Thank you WSP for offering this, I'm so happy I found an alternative supplier!

| COMMENTS: I love this fragrance oil for mixing! I make a soap popular with my male customers that uses bay rum essential oil, however recently I had noticed suppliers having trouble stocking the essential oil so I was experimeting with fragrance oils in case I could not get the eo anymore. This version was far better than any others I tried and I all I did was replace a small portion of the EO in my soap with the FO and it helped the strengthen the scent retention and enhance my EO blend! This fragrace oil soaped perfectly too!

| COMMENTS: Used this in cold process soap. Hubby and son wanted plain soap with a "manly" smell, haha. Used no colorant in this, made a nice neutral colored soap (no coloration from scent) and they LOVE the smell! My 22 yr old son is even passing it out to his buddies.

| COMMENTS: Great scent but extremely weak in CP soap. We follow the guidelines and the exposure level leaves a very faint smell to CP after a month of curing. Love this in beard oil and there is no acceleration or ricing issues for the soap with the recipe we used. Titanium dioxide took care of the browning from the little bit of vanilla content in the FO. Smells like a men's aftershave, maybe old spice? One of our favorites next to Black Pepper FO. We have already reordered a bigger bottle.

| COMMENTS: Most reviewers are right... its not "bay rum" its sexier. Its more on the citrus floral side than the strong SPICE side. Regardless of that, it is by far the best man smell. Sexy Man scent... no other name works for it. I'd give it 100 stars if I could. INSTANTLY hated it in the bottle, but once in the soap,omg. I rarly have a reaction like that to soap. Its AMAZING.
Just do NOT expect it to smell like traditional bay rum... its not. Its better. It did overheat on me, so suggest being prepared to throw it in the freezer. Slightly discolored, very yellow in the bottle.

However, it is VERY strong, and I tend to cut the amount I use in half, i.e., if I would normally use 1.5 oz, I will cut down to .75oz. Your soap will still come out strongly scented. Has not caused any seizing for me in 10+ batches either.

| COMMENTS: It smelled wonderful, but truthfully as someone from the Caribbean where I am used to original Bay Rum Fragrance, it did not smell like Bay Rum. I used it in CP soap. The scent smells wonderfull and holds up real great, but it doesn't smell like West Indian Bay Rum, at least not the kind I grew up with, so I had to rename my soap something else because I sell soaps in the Caribbean and, I wouldn't be able to tell my customers that it's Bay Rum. But it sure smells awesome. I still love it though, I just don't call it Bay Rum Fragrance.
