Directions: Lip Products: Melt beeswax in double boiler or small pot on low heat. Once melted, add solid butters. Remove from heat. Add liquid oils and flavor oil. Mix well. Pour into lip tubes, small jars or other lip product packaging. View our Lip Product Recipes for detailed instructions.
Lotion Bars: Melt beeswax in double boiler or pot on low heat. Once melted, add solid butters. Remove from heat. Add liquid oils and fragrance. Mix well. Air Fresheners: Melt equal parts beeswax and palm kernel flakes (102º melt) in a small pot on low heat. Remove from heat. Incorporate fragrance. Pour into mold at an appropriate temperature for the mold. Allow mixture to solidify. Unmold and enjoy. View our Air Freshener Recipes for detailed instructions.
CP Soap: Use at about 1-3% of your oils and calculate with your oils in a lye calculator. Beeswax has a high melt point so raise the temperature of the oils to about 160ºF or 170ºF before mixing it in. It is necessary to soap hotter, around 120ºF, and be prepared for accelerated trace. Follow one of our CP Soap Recipes with Beeswax for more detailed instructions.

COMMENTS: The beeswax itself is wonderful! There is no off putting smell. I think it takes a little longer to melt but that's a good thing, there's no risk of burning. I also like how it is packaged, there are other suppliers that send it to you in zip lock, though its double bagged, there is still a risk of losing your product. Especially after its sat in a hot truck or facility. With beeswax from WSP, you exactly what is pictured. I've never received an order melted but, if it happened there wouldn't be much concern as the packaged is extra sturdy and has a vacuumed sealed top. I am looking forward to making more things with beeswax!

COMMENTS: This was a first time ordering yellow beeswax. I usually order the white. Upon opening the bag, I did notice a light essence of smoke. I had the man of the house who had kept bees as a youth smell the bag and he said he just smelled honey. I made lotion bars and in the finished product the smell is barely detectable and actually pleasant. Scent is easily covered with fragrance and essential oils.

"This is Yellow Beeswan?"
COMMENTS: This is such a pale yellow, I was surprised it wasn't called white. Nice quality product. But it doesn't have the yellow I would expect from beeswax. Fortunately, that is not a problem for how I am using it.

COMMENTS: I use in soap, lotions, candles... So many uses! Definitely a must have!!
COMMENTS: I've used these in several different lotion bar recipes. They work well, don't have an overpowering odor, give a good glide, and add hardness to the lotion bars. I always want to have these on hand. I'm looking forward to using these in lip balms.

"Yellow Pastilles"
COMMENTS: I started making lotion bars in 2014, beeswax is one of the main ingredients in them. I find the pastilles easy to use and to measure out. I have used both the yellow and the white. There is no difference in the quality of the product, but I prefer the yellow because it give the bar a creamier appearance. I definitely recommend this product.

COMMENTS: This is a must have to harden and extend the lifeline in your bars and balms. It takes a while to melt, and smells a little funky, but gets the job done!

COMMENTS: I bought this to make lip balm, lotion bars and cuticle cream. It is really good quality and the final result was very good. I don't think white or yellow pastilles matter unless you are looking for a white finish. Because I added other oils and butter the final product was a creamy beige.

COMMENTS: This melts really easy when doing my body butter bars. I'm not too keen on the natural smell though but will take some getting use to if I use the non-scented bars more often.
COMMENTS: I have to admit that I was a little hesitant to get this product. I wanted to make lotion bars but did not want them to smell of honey. These beeswax pastilles are a very pale yellow, do not have an overpowering smell at all and gave my lotion bars hardness and slip. Great product, I will purchase more in the future!

COMMENTS: First opening the package, I was a little off-put by (to me) a strong smoke odour rather than the honey/beeswax I expected. Customer service was AWESOME. The pastilles are so easy to measure and melt and not a bit of smoke is in the finished product. I just bought another 5 pounds.

COMMENTS: I use this for my hard lotion bars...it smells wonky as you melt but after i added the FO it took it well. Easy to melt, just make sure you stir and melt in 45 seconds blasts if using a microwave. No complaints!

"Great quality beeswax"
COMMENTS: Simple to use, quick melting,great scent. Much easier than melting large beeswax chunks. My lotion bars were smooth and had the underlying scent of natural beeswax. FRESH!
COMMENTS: This is nice quality beeswax. You can still smell the beeswax in the finished product, even with essential oils added. I don't mind, but I did get some feedback from customers that their lotion bars smelled very much like beeswax. It seems to go away to a certain extent after the outermost layer is used up.

COMMENTS: First usage was for a tinted lip balm. the outcome is good but somehow, in my opinion, the product is quite harder than I want. Anyhow, when applying to my lips, it does work. Can't wait to try on a solid perfume recipe. They take a long time to melt so be very patient and it's important to do exactly step-by-step in the recipe.

"Super Easy"
COMMENTS: I used this to make cold cream and also lip balms. They both came out great. When you smell the pellets straight out of the package it smells nothing like beeswax but once your product is made and hardens there is that distinct beeswax smell, which I LOVE. These pellets make it very easy to weigh out the exact amount you need for your recipe.

"Yellow Beeswax"
COMMENTS: I loved this product for both soap making and in the homemade lotion! It worked really well with my goat milk. The only thing I would caution is that it will super thicken lotion, so don't use quite as much as the recipe calls for.
COMMENTS: This product was as expected. Maybe a little lighter in color than I'm used to but that works well for me since I add dye powders.

"Simply the best !!"
COMMENTS: One of my friend dropped in to see me make soaps & was surprised to see the beeswax pastilles in my closet. I explained its a lot easier to use than the huge chunks sold in Micheals & other stores. She was extremely happy to see the ease of using the pastilles & promised to shop at WSP, when she ran out of her beeswax chunky bar. My lipbalms turn out great without the greasiness.
