Product Details

Boom Box Blue Mica Powder is a shimmering bright blue cosmetic powder.

The pictured lotus blossom is clear melt and pour soap colored at a rate of 1 tsp. per pound of soap. Color will appear pastel and less vibrant in opaque melt and pour soap bases.

"I just noticed that your blue and green micas and nutones aren't for bath water use. I've been using them in my fizzies for a long time, with no problem that I've noticed. Should I stop, or am I misunderstanding the usage chart? I know the blue lake is fine for bath water, but what green would I use? Thanks! :)"

"Since many of your micas are made using ultramarine blue, do they need UV Inhibitor to keep them from turning green in MP soap, or is the color locked in?"

COMMENTS: love the color of this mica. It does turn a bit gray when using in soap sometimes depending on the fragrance you use but once it hardens it turns back to a lovely blue

COMMENTS: I have only used this mica in bath bombs. Once mixed with white bath bomb mixture, the final color is a light blue. It has a beautiful shimmer. I will order again.
