"How well will this blend with leather fragrance oil 530? I'm making cologne as a Christmas gift and ordered the leather fragrance oil 530, but I wondered if this will give it a nice mix. "Great Musky Smell"

COMMENTS: Has a strong, deep musky kind of smell. Very earthy and woodsy. I use it in my shave soap and it's a hit with men. It's strong so you don't need a lot of it, but not so strong that you're drowning in it if you use too much.

COMMENTS: The cedarwood EO is awesome in my cold processed soap. It did not cause it to trace fast. I use unrefined coconut oil, I know for me, this did make a difference in how my soaps traced. Will be buying this again this winter. Definitely an earthy smell, which I love.

"Surprised how much I like it!"

COMMENTS: Compared to a different source cedarwood, this one is spot on. Smells just like you have run a saw through a plank of cedar or trimmed a tree branch. I made a "man's" soap but women like it as well. Love it.

COMMENTS: This EO arrived today and I made a 10b batch with it tonight. The scent is just lovely, woodsy and earthy and my first thought was manly, but after sniffing it all night I am a huge (female) fan. Soap took quite a while to reach trace, so definitely not an accelerator. Not sure about color as I made charcoal soap. Now fingers crossed the scent lasts.

COMMENTS: I use a lot of "woodsy" scents in my candles, so this works perfectly. Exactly what you think cedarwood smells like, and is an excellent base to mix with sweeter woods like pine and fir. Love that the EO is such a reasonable price too. As with any essential oils, discoloration in candles can occur. I have not tested this part extensively to understand how the cedarwood EO behaves.

COMMENTS: I recently made a batch of shampoo bars, blending this cedarwood EO with a little bit of cinnamon EO (also from WSP), and the scent is pretty nice. Cedarwood seems to be a more masculine scent to me, but the touch of cinnamon sweetens it just enough to where the cedarwood is not too overwhelming, and the cinnamon doesn't overtake it. :) Overall, I am very happy with the purchase, and would buy it again.

COMMENTS: I loved the smell right out of the bottle. Unfortunately I forgot to check my temperature on my hot process soap before I added it in. when I stirred it in I got a mushroom cloud of scent burnoff and not a lot of the scent got through (or stayed in shall I say) in the soap. So remember to check your temps and flash points.

COMMENTS: Out of the bottle it has a very pungent eucalyptus-like scent. I was worried at first that I wasn't going to be able to use it. However, it mellowed to a very nice cedar. It smelled exactly as it should. I'll be using this quite a bit.

"Very light woodsy fragrance"

COMMENTS: I enjoy this EO. I have used it in Cold Process, Hot Process, and CPOP soaps. It works well in all of them and works GREAT when you mix it with other EOs or scents. The great thing about this scent is that it is light enough to blend with others to create your own personal "fragrance". I will continue to buy this product. The packaging is also the best I've ever found. Each amber bottle is closed and then taped with electrical tape, and THEN -- packed in an egg crate type container, taped again, and in a box with packing peanuts! It's wonderful and I don't have to worry about breakage or leakage with my orders from WSP!

"Soothing Skin Oil"

COMMENTS: This product was a great addition to the ecezma products I currently use. I had no problem blending this oil with any of them (melt and pour soap, body wash and lotion) but I found that it works best in a stand alone oil blend. This will definately be a future bulk purchase!!!

"Great Scent-Excellent Choice For Base Note"
