Cocoa Butter is thought to reduce skin dryness and work wonders for the skin. Our Cocoa Butter Wafers - Ivory are refined to reduce some of the natural color and odor. The result is a beautiful ivory butter with a milder odor than natural Cocoa Butter. This product is a different specification than our Cocoa Butters not in wafer form. Cocoa Butter Wafers often melt in transit in warmer temperatures. This will not compromise quality. Use these wafers in soap, lotion bars and more!

Extracted from the seed kernels and is further refined and deodorized to yield an ultra white colored butter with little odor. Thought to reduce skin dryness and improve elasticity. DIRECTIONS: Slowly stir melted product into the oil portion of your formulation. Common use levels are lip products 5-100%, cold process soap 3-6%, lotions and creams 3-5%. Can be applied directly to the skin.

"Amazing little wafers"
COMMENTS: I love the ease of the ivory wafers and the low scent factor...they do have a slight cocoa butter scent BUT the scent has never come through in any final product I use them in. I mostly use these in CP Soap and bath bombs, such a breeze to weight out great quality and amazing addition to my formulations. I highly recommend the use of the wafers if you use Cocoa Butter in your recipes.

"Too Strong of a Scent"
COMMENTS: I bought these thinking they would be easier to measure out for our body butters, and they were. But unfortunately the cocoa scent is too overpowering, even when I use fragrance oils instead of essential oils in our body butters.

COMMENTS: Convenient little wafers and a very pleasant muted cocoa scent. A perfect middle ground between full scent and plain with a nice creamy color. An excellent Price v. Amount for experimenting with. About the size of a flatter capri-sun pouch that is decently full.

COMMENTS: I thought this would be a great substitute to the blocks of Cocoa Butter. It is great for measuring, but it has a pretty strong Cocoa smell. Not as deodorized as the other deodorized ultra white cocoa butter. So be aware that it does have what I would considerable amount of Cocoa odor.
