"Can this be added to MP soap? If so, how much per pound. I will be adding 12% fragrance oil & a very small amount of mica powder. "

Staff Answer This can be added to MP soap, but we recommend added a very small amount, as added oils butters can affect the lather and hardness of the soap, so 0.5-2%. Our soaps however, can only take 6% additives total. 12% fragrance is much too high.

"Is the chocolate odor detected in cold process soap? I recently purchased natural wafers from another company and it ruined the fragrance in my soaps. They all smell like chocolate!"

Staff Answer If cocoa butter is a large part of your recipe, you will most likely smell the chocolate scent after the soap has been made.

"How is the 5 pound option of cocoa butter waffers packaged? Is it 5 ziplock 1 pound bags?"

Staff Answer The 5 lb. is packaged in one large bag. They are in the Crafter's Choice blue zip pouches. You tear off the sealed top to remove your product. These can then be resealed when done.

Staff Answer This should be treated the same as cocoa butter sold in a block. If you currently temper your cocoa butter, we would recommend doing the same for the wafers.
