Coco Betaine would be considered the natural version where as Cocamidopropyl Betaine would be the synthetic version, and easier accessible. "This is a follow up to my question. So I tried the coco betaine in my rebatch soap I used 1 oz of Bubble up in the mix of 32 oz of rebatch soap. I also mixed in 1 tsp of Panthenol powder. The result was a great lather. Very good bubbles"

"I am kind or confused on the whole PH value thing. A shampoo should be around 5-6 PH? But I see alot of surfactants used that have high PH so how do they work in shampoo formulas? Especially when they are all different PH ranges.... Or do I have the idea wrong ?"

COMMENTS: I make my own foaming bath whip, this surfactant performs perfectly in my formula! It enhances lather and leaves the skin soft and smooth. I plan to make some bubble wands and bubble bath, so I will definitely need to order the gallon size. What I love about this surfactant is the pH isn't as high as some of the other gentle surfactants. So it's easier to control the pH of the final product.

"Powerful stuff"

COMMENTS: I was trying out a different BB recipe when I was using this. In combination with SLSA this is some powerful stuff at a very low dose. About .8% of total batch weight even just a crumble off the bath bombs and the water was extremely silky smooth. The bath bombs didn't survive sadly but they feel so nice even when the crumbly bits are mixing into the water. Extremely effective. Great for the price.
