Lotion. Body Moisturizer. This is a ready to use base. It can be used “as is” or it can have color and fragrance incorporated prior to packaging.

Directions:
On low heat, warm base to 120º F. Add cosmetic grade fragrance and FDA approved color additive. Scoop or pipe into container. Allow to return to room temperature and apply top. Label per FDA label requirements.
Note: Amount of fragrance cannot exceed IFRA guidelines (listed for each fragrance on this website) and should not exceed this products “Maximum Fragrance Load” of 4%. If your lotion does not remain white when you rub it into your skin then you have used too much color. If product significantly thins you have used too much fragrance.
Maximum Temp Note: If a base is heated over “Maximum Heating Temperature” for greater than 5 minutes the current preservative system can be rendered inactive and additional preservative is required to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria and fungus. If more than 5% additives are incorporated into the base, the current preservative system will be diluted and additional preservative will be required.

COMMENTS: I bought this to customize for lotion, it's overall feel is as indicated; for baby lotion/cream and face creams. I am 90% satisfied with how the lotion came out but it's more suited to be used as a face cream base. It has a smooth texture and a lovely silky after feel on your skin.

COMMENTS: I didn’t give the full stars because you really can’t use this product alone if you have dry skin. You’ll have to add a lil something for thirsty skin. I added mango butter to one batch and aloe Vera to another, safe to say, I’m buying this product until it’s discontinued. Period. Also, you don’t need to add preservative.

COMMENTS: A customer asked me to make her handmade mask. I was feeling a little lazy today and didn't feel like making my own lotion so I decided to use WSP face cream; all I can say is, Ermahgerd how wonderful. It has a weird jelly consistency so what I decided to do was make a sea clay face and body pudding mask using-- Tea Tree oil, kaolin clay, liquid silk, vitamin E, Glycerin, Wheat Germ Oil and called it body pudding. I want a big bucket of this stuff. I just couldn't stop playing with it. After making body pudding for sale, I made a batch for my family batch and found myself lost in translation playing with this stuff and I just couldn't stop playing it, it is so fun to work with--- I premixed my Kaolin Clay, Sea Clay with a little Glycerin and oils to remove the lumps.

COMMENTS: I bought this cream base...based on all the reviews. I really like this. I appreciate that its not heavy, tacky or greasy but still moisturizes well. I added Argan oil to it and it accepted it very well. I only had 1 customer who wasnt thrilled about this product. Her skin was very dry to begin with and she felt it wasn't moisturizing enough for her. Of course that could happen with any face cream. I will keep this base in stock all the time. "Gentle Face and Baby Cream"
COMMENTS: This cream is more like the consistency of a good lotion; not too thick and not too thin. It absorbs into skin perfectly and leaves your skin feeling baby soft. Since incorporating this lotion into my product line I have received nothing but positive reviews. I will continue to purchase this base from WSP.

COMMENTS: When used as a facial lotion, it is light & very moisturizing. Didn't clog pores or cause breakouts like many face creams do on my sensitive skin. I love it & will be using it regularly & may also add to my line.

"Gentle and nourishing"
COMMENTS: I normally prefer creams over lotions but while making this I test on my hands. It feels really nice and there's no residual feeling. It incorporates fragrance really well. I will definitely purchase again.

COMMENTS: I have been making soap and lotions for 16 yrs and have always used the goat milk lotion. I decided to try this cream. I did not like the rubbery consistency/feel of this cream and getting it to melt to incorporate the fragrance oil very difficult. I will not buy or use this base again.

"Ellegant Lotion Base"
COMMENTS: This is by far the best base for lotions and creams. It truly is light weight in texture. This base is excellent for baby lotion as well as body and face cream for adults. My customers love the feel, texture and non greasy. This base can be used alone or in many of the recipes posted on WSP. I encourage WSP customers to try this base, I am certain they will come back for more. I am hooked and so are my customers.

"Perfect for sensitive skin"
COMMENTS: I used the product unscented as a face lotion for women and an after shave moisturizer for men. I personally suffer from Rosacea and pretty much everything burns my face. I was impressed because after applying the facial lotion I did not get any burning scensation. This is a valuable low cost alternative for those with sensitive skin.

"very nice"
COMMENTS: Used this to make the white tea facial lotion. Very nice. It's light, so not super moisturizing, but some people don't like a heavier, creamier cream. Perhaps something more intense in the evening, and then this in the morning. The white tea fragrance is amazing, by the way.

"I had so much fun!"
COMMENTS: The possibilities and combinations are endless with this base. It is paraben free; which is so helpful. Do your research regarding the other preservatives used and make that call what is best for you and your clientele. I had a blast starting with a basic WSP recipe and went from there with my own customizations for face and body including women, men, children! The base can be formulated into a cream, lotion, or creamy lotion! It is very stable, never separating and holding its body, color and fragrance,after opening a jar of night cream that I made three months ago! I highly recommend packaging this base in airless pump bottles and Malibu bottles.
