Staff Answer There is no governmental agency or generally recognized organization that oversees the term "therapeutic grade essential oils" so the definition of the phrase is open to marketing hype. Our essentials oils are 100% pure and not cut or diluted to reduce costs.

Therapeutic grade is a general term that anybody can use. If you are reading a book that told you to look for that term, they are probably emphasizing the necessity to ensure that the oil is 100% real oil. This is 100% real oil.

It is a 100% undiluted oil, but it should not be taken internally (if that is what you mean by therapeutic).

"Excellent Quality, Strong and Earthy"

COMMENTS: I was nervous reading all of the reviews... well, I got it recently and loved the smell in the bottle. I mix it with citrus, patchouli, and other oils but have never tried it alone. It adds a warmth and earthy element, and it does mellow in the cured soap. Behaves fine in all of my products. Use with a light hand! It is very strong.

COMMENTS: When I think of ginger, I think of the way it tastes - zingy & bright with a bite. Do not buy Ginger EO is that is what you expect. Ginger EO is not feminine or light in the least, rather it has a heavy, pungent, earthy smell. I expect to treat this like a more musky and masculine fragrance, when not using if for its EO health properties.
