If I use this SFIC Goat's Milk Melt & Pour Soap Base (and use 100% natural colorants and scents), is my bar of soap made with 100% natural ingredients?: This soap in not 100% natural.
I'm fairly new to soap making. I only use melt and pour. My question is: Using my goat milk base and raw & Unrefined Shea Butter how do I make soap bars? I've looked online to no avail. Can anyone tell me the amounts to use? I normally use a 1 lb block of goats milk. I've seen the recipe using lye which I want to stay away from. Trying to do this for a friend. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks: Adding a butter to a soap base is not recommended. We do have a Shea Butter Soap Base and Goat Milk Powder can be added.
