Appeal to your hippie clientele with this hemp lotion. Hemp seed butter is considered one of the "driest" natural oils, meaning it absorbs quickly into the skin. As a result, this lotion moisturizes without being too greasy. It's scented with a refreshing blend of peppermint and coriander, and packaged in eight-ounce clear plastic bottles with black disc tops.

COMMENTS: First time I have ever made lotion. I had a question about how hot the water should really be but haven’t heard back yet. Everyone’s microwave is different.
The lotion itself is AWESOME!! I love the recipe!!
The bottles that are included with the kit are useless. The lotion is so thick...you can’t get it out of the bottles. A large mouth container would be much better.
I filled 2 of the lotion containers with the kit and I’m going to have to cut them open so I can add the lotion to a proper container.

"Hemp Lotion Kit"
COMMENTS: I thought I had everything to make this lotion, but I forgot to order the Hemp Butter. I substituted Aloe Butter in place of the Hemp Butter and the results are amazing. This is my new favorite lotion recipe. It absorbs wonderfully and the rainforest scent is light, not overpowering. I just may begin to use this recipe as my standard for all fragrances. That is how much I like it!

"Call it cream, not lotion"
COMMENTS: The lotion was so easy to prepare and easy to poor into the bottles, but next day it was so thick that it was impossible to apply. The lotion doesn't come out of the bottle even after strong shaking. I would sell this as a cream, and with another type of container.

"Hemp Lotion Kit! Love!"
COMMENTS: I really liked this kit! I will make it again for sure! The lotion is a dryer lotion. So it isn't oily on your skin, yet it is silky. I also like the rainforest scent that came with the kit. But I am sure this lotion would be popular in any scent because the texture is awesome.

"The most luxurious lotion!"
COMMENTS: This was the first time that I made lotion from scratch. After reading the reviews, I purchased the kit and what a lovely lotion it makes! The instructions were easy to follow but have your oz and grams figured out ahead of time as some of the products are in pounds - even the very small amounts. This made four 8 oz bottles, five 4 oz bottles and five 2 oz bottles. I will use a different fragrance next time as I didn't care for the fragrance that came with the kit.
A couple of tips: 1. if you want to make the bottles different fragrances or not have to fill all of the bottles at one time, have a clean and sanitized bucket ready. That way, you can make up just what you need and store the rest. 2. It is wonderfully thick and easy to put into the bottles with a clean quart size baggie. Place the baggie inside a glass jar for ease of filling up the baggie. Just try to snip a smidgen off at the corner of the baggie. If your hole is too large, it's difficult to fill the bottle.

"Love this kit!"
COMMENTS: This was the first lotion for me to make. The directions were easy to follow, and the lotion turned out wonderful! I did, however, make a big mess on the first batch as I attempted to get it in the bottles. Like other people have suggested, using an icing decorating bag is the way to go. I did substitute the FO for another more fit for the season. Will definitely buy again!

"I am so happy with how this turned out."
COMMENTS: I made this for the first time and it turned out great! I was amazed. I think the water was a bit too cool because it got thick really fast. It is a bit too thick for these bottles so I am going to use a pump style top for it instead. It feels so great on your skin. It is now my favorite lotion. Men and women like the scent too.

"Amazing product"

COMMENTS: This product is amazing! I absolutely loved it and my customers are going crazy over how awesome it is. This lotion is super moisturizing. I use essential oils and they smell amazing. The only issues is the oils do not always blend well and when bottles are around any heat at all, the oils separate.
