Product Details

Scandinavian holly berry, red currants, and mandarin rind smell cool with a hint of spice. This cool, spicy profile blends seamlessly with frosted mint, snow fern, and clove buds. Finish off with fir balsam, Monterey pine, cedar bark, and some vanilla bean.

Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"A Best Seller at Fall & Winter Craft Shows"

COMMENTS: This scent is well worth the acceleration. Soap cool and don't water discount. Work in layers. The scent is well worth the trouble. It's wonderful and sold quickly at the fall/winter craft shows.

COMMENTS: Yes, it accelerates like crazy. But honestly, I've learned just to make layers in my soap with it, add the fragrance to each layer right before I pour. The scent is my fave holiday scent so its worth it to me.

"No Scent"

COMMENTS: The description sounds divine; but there is no scent at all! I was looking forward to making wax melts for Christmas gifts but can't use it and will toss it, a waste of $$.

"Should have read the reviews first!"

COMMENTS: I bought this fragrance oil without reading the reviews - had a good laugh while trying to make my most intricate soap. BUT I PERSEVERED! I had to patch a lot of air pockets, but I'm pleased with the result. Would have given 5 stars... but that acceleration... SMELLS AMAZING though...

"Lovely fragrance"

COMMENTS: I'm glad I ended up using this. I bought it and was nervous at first. I was expecting it to accelerate fast but carefully hand mixing and keeping it simple with some embeds on top it worked out pretty well!

"Scent worked well, accelerates but workable"

COMMENTS: I used this scent in a CP scenery soap so it worked well for me. I anticipated the acceleration so I didn't over blend and hand stirred where I could. I also rushed which isn't easy for a detailed soap. It smells lovely! Great for the holidays without discoloring! I would just say be ready with a simple design or test it with your recipe first. May the odds ever been in your favor!

COMMENTS: So bummed I didn't read the reviews first! This accelerated fast. Almost didn't get it in my molds. The scent is nice, but definitely not for cold process.

"It Accelerated and Riced"

COMMENTS: I was disappointed in the behavior of this fragrance in cp soap. It accelerated big time and it also riced. My recipe was a pretty basic recipe. Temps of soap and lye were 82 & 85 degrees. I do have to say the fragrance is beautiful though.

"Made soap on a stick"

COMMENTS: I really liked the fragrance of this oil but when I added it to my batter, it accelerated so fast that I could not work with it at all. It made what soapers call "soap on a stick" I would not recommend this fragrance oil for cold process soap.

COMMENTS: after adding this fragrance oil my soap batter it seized before i could blend or stir .... loved the smell so much ordered another before i used it ... will have to use in something else
