"The IFRA safety rate for this EO is 5%. But I have seen that your company recommends 1% EO in your M&P base. Can Your M&P bases ( including detergent free ) tolerate more than this 1% - without being harmed If not, what happens to the base??"

"Do we calculate usage of EO according to weight or volume? I've been weighing mine (example: 2% in 2 lbs of MP soap = 0.64oz of EO) but an aromatherapist told me doing it that way changes the % because EO needs to be measured in volume, and I would use too much of the lighter oils. Is this true? Or is weighing accurate? Thanks!"

COMMENTS: When it comes to quality products, I know I can always rely on WholesaleSuppliesPlus.com for every single thing! Your Certified 100% Pure Essential Oils cannot be beat! I use a lot of Lavender in my products, considering it to be queen of essential oils, so when I say that this is a great product, I mean that! The 40/42 has a more herbaceous aroma to it than the 30/32, which means that it appeals to a wider range of consumers, including men. My personal fav is 30/32, but I use the 40/42 almost as much because of the more herbaceous aroma.

"One of the Best!"

COMMENTS: I have been using WSP 40/42 EO Lavender for over 8 years now and find that it holds its scent well in my HP goat milk soap making - a real plus. I have also used it successfully in Melt & Pour as well as lotions. Because it is a natural EO and costly (generally speaking vs. fragrances) I typically blend it with Lavandin EO, also purchased at WSP, for slightly stronger scent. In HP Goat Milk soap one typically has to use a little more fragrance to ensure once it cures that enough of a scent remains. Make sure that you use this at the very end of your process -- before color if you are going to swirl or layer, or if you are going to do a uniform color then i advise putting in after your color. For those who do HP soap and have used EO, you know what I mean in saying you want to be careful not to "burn off" i.e. vaporize the EO yet still be able to do your pour. I have tried other company's 40/42 when WSP was sold out and always return to this one...it is truly the best.

"I've always love Lavender 40/42 & WSP has the best"

COMMENTS: I know there are different lavender strains, but 40/42 has always been my favorite. WSP makes an exceptional Lavender 40/42 and I use it for all my concoctions. With plants, it's hard to maintain scent consistency (different growing regions and plant quality), but this one has been the same soothing smell every time I buy it.

"So Relaxing"

COMMENTS: I have added lavender oil to bath salts and scrubs with equally wonderful results. The scent seems to be universally appreciated which makes it great for producing products for sale. COMMENTS: Let's start by saying I'm not a lover of lavender. However, I had a few requests for it and decided to try it out. I chose this one based on the reviews. It is very strong out of the bottle and both my daughter and I ended up with bad headaches after working with it. This scent did mellow out a bit once we got it in the products, and the customers love it, so I'll keep it in stock. But next time I'll put a fan in the window to blow the some of the scent out of the room and hopefully that will help with the headaches.

"Lovely Lavender"

COMMENTS: This is always my go to for Lavender Essential Oil. The smell is pure perfection. The real deal, unlike some of the other supposed lavender essential oils that I have purchased over the years. Clean, Calming, Enchanting, everything you want a Lavender EO to be. I love to take a bath with my lavender and chamomile bath salts, and add to the spa experience with my sugar scrub with lavender and chamomile. Customers LOVE it. A special parenting secret I have is to let my children spray Sweet Dreams spray in their bedrooms at night (distilled water and this lavender eo in a glass spray bottle)

"The Perfect Lavender!"

COMMENTS: I adore lavender - it's mingled all throughout the various gardens and flower beds around our farm and I simply cannot walk by one of my little gems without running my hands through the stems to release the fragrance. I tell you this to assure you that I know what REAL lavender smells like...and this lavender EO is as close as it gets to waving a fresh lavender sprig at your nose! It soaps beautifully (no A or D) and the fragrance lasts forever (seriously, I have two bars from last November's batch that fell behind my storage shelf and the aroma is a fresh as a batch I just made a a few weeks ago. Essentially, that is over a year and it still smells great!

"Best Lavender Ever"

COMMENTS: This is my favorite Lavender Essential Oil. I use in in my CP Goat's Milk Soap. I use it straight in my Lavender, and Lavender Oatmeal and also blended with Wholesale Supplies Patchouli and Wholesale Supplies Lemongrass. These are all some of my top sellers. Everyone loves this Lavender Essential oil. I love that it has an honest to goodness Lavender scent. It has an excellent "herbal" quality. Please don't change a thing. In a pinch (when it is out of stock) I use the 30/32, but I like the 40/42 best!

COMMENTS: I recently used a 2 ounce bottle of lavender essential oil for a soap that's a little over 3 pounds. This was my first time making a lavender soap. The scent is strong out of the bottle initially. After I cut my soap the next day, the lavender had mellowed out into a nice, relaxing scent. I love it. Due to the price of 2 ounces, it does mean a more expensive soap to sell. I added no color to the soap, preferring to keep it all natural. Will buy again, andy hope to use it in blends.

COMMENTS: Lavender is a classic scent, and the 40/42 version sure delivers! It smelled a little strong to me right out of the bottle. Once I added it to the lotion bars, the scent really evened out. Everyone loves it! I've smelled quite a few different varieties of lavender, and they all seem a little different from each other. This one seems like it has some peppermint tones to it, but that may be just my nose. Overall, an excellent product!
