COMMENTS: This smell is really great. I’ve ordered several masculine scents and haven’t been impressed with any other ones but this one won me over.

"Smells nice but not like the original"
COMMENTS: It is a nice, fresh, masculine fragrance with average strength and staying power in EDP.
While it smells fairly close to the original it is missing several notes and if you haven't smelled the original in a while, you make think its closer than it is. However, I was working with it side by side with the original and it required a lot of tweaking.
It has a strong aquatic cologne, man soap note that doesn't exist in the original and this was hard to bury. It dropped the ball on bergamot and completely missed the tonka while the coumarin/oakmoss was also barely noticeable. It was a decent enough base to work from and eventually got pretty dang close to the original. After 8 trials of adding various quantities of several other FOs, I finally got it to the point where I was happy and more importantly, the client (who regularly wears the original) was pleased -- IMHO it's still missing something especially in the dry down, but like I said, good enough was good enough in this case.
All that being said, at the time of purchase there were no reviews and WSP was the only supplier I could find with this TYPE and I was on a very tight deadline, so I am still very grateful to have found this FO.
Haven't used it in CP and am not sure if I will--though... with that soapy smell, I just might! Hopefully it doesn't accelerate. If I do use it, I likely will not market it as a Mont Blanc Legend dupe though as I cannot use my blend bc some of the FOs I had to use for the EDP are too pricey for soap.
