Directions:

DIRECTIONS: Slowly stir melted product into the oil portion of your formulation. Common use levels are lip products 5-100%, cold process soap 3-6%, lotions and creams 3-5%. Can be applied directly to the skin.

TIPS: The average melting point for the butter is 108-122°F. Butters provide moisturizing properties to products. To minimize greasy after feel we recommend blending with 1-3% cornstarch or isopropyl myristate. Test your final product to insure optimal performance.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.

CAUTION: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

"Would you say this butter is harder than the refined shea? I don't want to whip the butter but most that aren't whipped are hard to get out of the jar; so, I was looking for something to help the butter be a bit softer upon set...if this isn't a softer butter can you point me to the softer butters please. Staff Answer Butter blends are usually softer because they are blended with sweet almond or hydrogenated vegetable oil.

Sort of like a whipped shortening. It will melt on skin contact, but is much thicker than an oil and is more of a solid at lower temps.

It was a harder butter to get out of the container it came in but whipped very nicely. Very nice on your skin.

This is a soft wonderful butter that blends into the skin very nice it soaks in rather quickly and the smell is devine. It has a strong lemon smell. no fake or cleaning smell Thank you Tracy

"Vanilla Moisturizing Lotion Bars"

COMMENTS: I recieved this butter blend as part of the Vanilla Moisturizing Lotion Bar Kit and was very pleased with this butter blend. The warm vanilla sugar frangrance mixed perfectly with the scent of this butter. The Macadamia Butter Bland waws smooth, sliky, creamy additon to this lotion bar recipe, and I am excited to try it in other products. I am so glad I tried the kit recipe as-is because this butter blend is fantastic! The resulting lotion bars are easy to use, moisturizing, and not greasy. The kit included the Warm Vanilla Sugar Fragrance Oil that mixes perfectly with the natural scent of the macadamia butter blend.

	"Amazing Texture"
COMMENTS: So impressed by this butter blend and its versatility. I used it for flavored sugar lip scrubs and unlike some of the simpler oil-based recipes, the macadamia butter blend added a balm-like moisture after the sugar was removed— and lasted. Lips are soft, smooth, and perfectly prepped for day or night. Going to try some lip plumping and tinted balms next.

"Creamy"

COMMENTS: I love the consistency of this butter. It’s very smooth and creamy. I did a few very small test batches of lip balm and body butter which all came out wonderfully. I would definitely buy again. I also appreciate the fact that it doesn’t smell so no competing with FO/EO’s that are added.

COMMENTS: This butter has the consistency of 76 degree coconut oil when solid. It has a light nutty scent and melts instantly on the skin. It is non greasy and very light!
