Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"LOVE IT!"

COMMENTS: This scent was extremely popular with my male customers. It's a very musk-heavy scent with undertones of wood, and it sold out very quickly. One thing I will mention is that it slowed down trace A LOT and stayed VERY fluid for a VERY long time. It also gained a sort of green hue on the tops of the bars, which I ended up trimming off. I've got another batch scheduled to be made in a few months. :)

"Okay men’s scent "

COMMENTS: I was really hoping for a straight Musk with this but it smells like some Walmart cologne for men. I would not recommend this for anyone needing a Mush scent. This is a men’s cologne scent. It’s okay. Best to blend with wood and resin notes to make it smell appealing. It can be enjoyable once blended.

"Masculine Musk - A man's scent or NOT ?? "

COMMENTS: To my surprise; women liked this scent and one actually bought a bar of my MP with this fragrance for herself. I used the café late' shimmer (for women)with this lovely fragrance for the woman. This masculine musk would be great added along with orange (citrus) and vanilla. Many options with this fragrance. Experiment with this fragrance and use different citrus FO and some vanilla FO to create a new scent that will be loved by many. If you like NEROLI Fragrance Oil. This would be a start on making your own NEROLI fragrance oil. So close when added with appropriate FO.

COMMENTS: Used in our soaps, this is perhaps our best selling men's fragrance. Moreover, this is a fragrance that our female customers buy for their men. Even beyond that, some women like the fragrance for themselves! We struggle with some discoloration, but have learned to work around that, knowing that's often the case for musky fragrances.

"Not so Masculine Musk Scent"

COMMENTS: I made a sample bottle of lotion with this product and was wonderfully surprised by how sexy this fragrance is. It lasted on my skin for 2 days, wow! My husband loved it on me, but would not use it for himself. Several of my friends, (male and female), made the same comment. I think this fragrance would be wonderful added to body wash or to candles. This is a keeper.

COMMENTS: I and everyone else who have used/smelled this scent are crazy about it. It is such a sexy scent. My husband and our good friend wear lotion scented with this F/O all the time and so many people compliment them on how good they smell...even other guys have come up to them to tell them they smell good! COMMENTS: Deep, musky, slightly-sweet, and somewhat woodsy. Very nice scent. My husband wasn't quite sure about it when I first brought it home, but I catch him dabbing it on his wrists when I'm not looking :)
