Product Details

Muted brown shade that does not migrate in mp soap! Proprietary blend of mp soap base and color. One bar contains six cubes. One cube colors approximately 5-10 pounds of MP Soap (depending on the desired shade).

Performance Results:
Color: Produces a vibrant color in clear soap base. A pastel color is produced in opaque (white) soap base. This product is only approved for melt and pour soap base because it is a color suspended in melt and pour soap base.

Product pH: Color will not change in products with a high pH.

Color Fading: This color is not light sensitive.

Color Migration: If product design has layered colors, this color will not migrate or “bleed” between layers.

Directions:

DIRECTIONS: Cut desired amount from the color bar and melt into warm soap base at 130-140ºF. To color your product, start with small amount of color and increase as desired. Adding this color to white soap will produce a pastel colored bar. Adding this color to a clear base will produce a bright colored bar.

TIPS: Using too much color may cause staining. Test your final product to ensure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.

CAUTION: Approved for melt and pour soap. Not approved for general cosmetics, eye and lip products. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

"True to color in MP Soap and does not bleed"

COMMENTS: I used this in a layered MP Goats Milk base. The color stayed true and it was important it did not bleed and it did not. This can be a bit messy shaving parts off if you aren't going to use the entire block.

"Very dense pigment"

COMMENTS: Used in clear m&p soap. Little goes a long way to color clear soap to a nice chocolate brown. First time using bar color & I prefer it to liquid colorant. Don't have to worry about leaking bottles or spills.

"Matte Brown Soap Color Block"

COMMENTS: Excellent colorant by Crafter's Choice. I only use this brand. I use all of their colors and they are awesome. All melt well and blend so easily. I also use their liquid colors and dry colors. Very good each for the purpose I need at the time. My cupboard is well stock with each color. Their Sparkle Bars are gorgeous too.

"Easy to use, goes a long way"

COMMENTS: This brown soap colorant is perfect for making gingerbread men soaps. A tiny, tiny bit colors an entire pound of white MP soap base. I've always used liquid colorants in the past, but couldn't find the right color of brown. Now that I've tried this bar colorant, I'm sold! From now on I'll only use bar colorants.

COMMENTS: Believe me when I say that a little goes a long way. I chip a tiny piece off with a knife and add it to the soap just as it's finishing up the melt process. Don't add to much or else your soap will be a dark brown. Adding a small amount gives it a perfect light brown hue.
