Recommended Use Level:
0.5-1%

MP Soap: Add color to a small amount of liquid glycerin. Mix well. Then add amount desired to melted soap base. Adding more will produce a darker color. You have used too much color if your soap bubbles are not white.

Make Up: Add color directly to base. Do not use more than 10% of the total formula. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE IN BATH FIZZIES!

"I was wondering if anyone has tried it in HP soap. Also, I have the regular glow in the dark powder. Are you able to tell me how much longer the extended glow lasts compared to the regular?"

Staff Answer We recommend using the glow in the dark powder in MP soap only. It will not work in either CP or HP. Unfortunately, we are not able to tell you how much longer the extended glow will last.

"Can this be used with bath salts? "

Staff Answer This powder should not be used in bath salts. We state this is not recommended for use in bath fizzies which is also used in the bath. It should be used in MP soap only and limited use in makeup, such as for Halloween.

"What is the best way to incorporate this glow in the dark powder in a melt and pour base?... Add in straight and mix,add to some rubbing alcohol and mix then add in, add to some glycerin and then add in, etc. "

Staff Answer This powder can be mixed right into the melted soap. You can add to a small amount of liquid to be sure it is incorporated well. Then add into the larger batch. If you find it difficult to mix, you can blend into a small amount of glycerin before adding to the soap.

"Can the glow in the dark powder be mixed with other colours of mica to glow or no? What colour does it show up as on it's own?"

"Hi, I have both types of glow in the dark powders. Would it be OK to mix the two together (extended glow and regular glow powder)? Would it make a difference in the extended glow? "

Staff Answer This is something you would need to test. We only have the newer powder here in our facility. They both contain the same ingredients so there should not be a problem.
