Appearance: Water-like consistency, clear to yellow tint. May become cloudy with the addition of other ingredients.

Aloe Vera and Sodium PCA add moisture and won't weigh hair down.
Pro-Vitamin B5 acts much like a lubricating emulsifier. It binds to hair follicles and attracts moisture, as well as smooths hair surfaces and lubricates the hair shaft.
Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein is a moisturizing and conditioning protein derived from whole wheat. It adds body and helps strengthen as it smooth hair cuticles, attracts and retains moisture, builds body, and improves manageability while adding luster and smoothness.
This base can be used as-is or with additives. Water-soluble additives (such as botanical extracts and proteins) may be added up to 5% by mixing directly into the base. The addition of oil soluble ingredients or oil soluble fragrances must be pre-mixed with an emulsifier, such as Polysorbate 20. Start by mixing a ratio of 1:1 solubilizer to Fragrance and increase up to 4:1 (if necessary), then mix into base. Water-soluble fragrances are suitable but our fragrances are not water-soluble and will not blend with this base unless the emulsifier is used. Recommended usage of fragrance load is 1%. Cloudiness may occur. Add some "pop" by using our Water-soluble liquid colorants. (Micas and oxides will sink).
This is a cold-mix base base, so no heating is not recommended. It doesn't get any easier!

"Doesn’t detangle"
COMMENTS: Like the previous reviewer, I find that this doesn’t do much for my hair, either. My hair is fine, and tends to have some dry spots that tangle. Although I appreciate that this isn’t thick or heavy, it doesn’t really detangle. It is, however, light enough that it doesn’t clog a sprayer, so I might use this up as a body spray base.

COMMENTS: This does absolutely nothing for the hair I’ve tried this and it makes my
Hair feel just as dry and it always does so it basically does nothing for my hair. Definitely not conditioning in any way
