Our Passionata Mica is bold and daring showcasing high luminescence and color. The Passionata Mica is a strong-toned, warm metallic red with peachy undertones. Shimmery and expressive when added to lip balm and lip gloss!
Passionata Mica is natural shimmer pigment derived from the mineral Muscovite Mica, coated with iron oxide, cosmetic-grade fineness (particle size 5-25 microns). Insoluble, but miscible in liquids. Sold by weight, not volume except for sample packet. For use in melt and pour soap base, see our tutorial: How to Use Mica Colorants in Soap. Properties: Imparts rich color with shimmering and pearlizing luminescence.
Use & Applications: Suspends best in thick bases and can be blended with other pigments. May be used in all kinds of decorative cosmetics and personal care products to add color, luster and pearlizing effects.
FDA approved for: Lips, eyes, face, nails.
Use in soap: stable and non-bleeding.

COMMENTS: This color was advertised as "strong-toned, warm metallic red with peachy undertones." In my CP soap, it came out more like a rust-red color. It is nice, but I expected a more orangish-red, given the color of the mica.
