"Smells pretty"

COMMENTS: I used this fragrance in a 100% coconut batch of cold process soap for some cute tulips that I was making for a small gift set. It smells amazing from the bottle. My technique is heat transfer to melt the hard oils and then stick blend to a light trace. Since it was coconut oil I stirred the fragrance in by hand. This is the second time making the tulips and the first ones are still holding their scent. Fingers crossed that these do, too.

"Not the worst"

COMMENTS: I’m not a fan of peony but my wife is and she loves this FO. Used 3.5oz by weight in a 4lb batch of CP, with pink clay and titanium dioxide added. Mixed FO in by hand at slight trace and immediately it began to rice. Was able to get things poured into molds before it all went sideways, but I’d say for the beginning soap maker this would be a surprise. I was going to try a swirl and Im glad I didn’t. Came back after to see the reviews and sure enough, a bunch mention it accelerating in CP. Something that should be noted in the description.

"Where's The Scent?"

COMMENTS: While I love almost every fragrance oil from WSP, this one was a big FLOP! I should've listened to the other reviews of those who said the scent faded. This fragrance oil was suppose to be used in my Breast Cancer Survivor gift boxes for October and I'm extremely disappointed in the scent retention. I now have to make another batch using a new fragrance. I would recommend this for lotions, body mists, or even whipped soap.

"Gorgeous fragrance in curing CP"

COMMENTS: I was not crazy about this OOB but have been soaping long enough to know they can take on new life in products. I tried it in bath tea and still wasn't super excited about it - still a little strong - but in cold process it is a beautiful scent at 3%. It smells like cut peonies. This is a keeper for spring and summer. Behaved well - no A/D/R.

	"No Scent in CP Soap"
COMMENTS: I made 2 batches (3 lb each), in one it worked fine but scent is faded next day. The other batch is messed up for some reason (didn't change anything). Scent also was faded next day. Not my favorite FO.

"My "Virgin" Fragrance!"

COMMENTS: New soaper here and I was nervous as heck about using fragrance oils. I've heard (and researched) countless stories about "soap on a stick"! However, the reviews on this one were all good, well mostly. I took the plunge and wow......it was so so easy to work with. I had time to do a drop swirl even. It came out wonderfully. Thanks WSP for my first experience with fragrance oils!! I've since had the "soap on a stick" with a stout fragrance but it made it to the mold eventually. haha I'm now addicted "seriously.....is there an anonymous group?) haha My husband actually is the culprit. He bought me a kit for Christmas. Our budget is on him now!

"Strong floral scent"

COMMENTS: I love this scent but I love a strong floral. I have only used in liquid soap for body wash and it did thicken the soap a LOT, which is fine abd allowed me to make several more bottles of body wash.

"Very Fake Scent"

COMMENTS: This Peony smells nothing like natural peony or any other peony smell. I tried this alone and also tried to mix it with others. It has never worked for me. After curing, the smell is no longer prevalent. I would not spend my money on this again.

"Performs well in Cold Process"

COMMENTS: The Peony fragrance oil smells beautiful out of the bottle, but doesn’t last in curing soap (I soaped at 100 degrees). The smell disappeared within a few days of curing. However, it performed extremely well in Cold Process soap and did not accelerate trace or discolor. If I purchase again, I’ll have to use more than the recommended usage rate.

"Faded Completely in days"

COMMENTS: I liked this scent OOB...it wasn't overly flowery or anything. It didn't accelerate trace or rice at all. I used just under the max allowed since it was fairly light in scent and anchored it with kaolin clay. But by the time I cut the soap the scent was already almost gone. Within a couple days I can't even detect it anymore...it just smells like soap. Really bummed!

"Beautiful Scent"

COMMENTS: I received as a free sample and it sat on my shelf for months. I figured it would fade out and just didnt know how to use it .Then came my daughters baby shower. I made Peony & Mint soap favors. Wow! The scent was gorgeous. My husband even loved the Peony so much that he kept the empty bottle in his workshop for weeks. No seizing, ricing or discoloration. Long lasting floral that everyone loves. Sells well.

"Stayed strong & true through cure!"

COMMENTS: I purposely waited to write a review for this FO, as I had read (and been told by fellow soapers) that this one doesn't stick around in CP. I'm always up for a good challenge tho! OOB, this scent is lovely & positively pretty! It's delicate, authentic & gorgeously feminine! I really wanted this FO to stay put, as I knew my customers would LOVE this one, so I pulled out some "tricks"! First was to use Kaolin Clay to help anchor the scent, and I used 1 generous TBS/PPO. Next was to use very strongly-steeped Linden tea in place of distilled water. Idk what it is about Linden tea, but I have used it in combo with Kaolin Clay to help anchor finicky FO's in the past with excellent results! Kaolin Clay works great on its own, but combined with the use of Linden tea, I've noticed a further increase in staying power! I'm not sure why or how this is, and it may have something to do with the Linden leaf itself, but MY best guess is that the oily properties of Linden tea helps as additional support to keep scents anchored better. So that's what I did, and I'm thrilled to report that 3 weeks later, the scent is still as strong and true in the soaps as the day I made them! I hope this gives others who are worried this scent will disappear in CP hope that there ARE ways to make it stay put, and even just using Kaolin Clay alone will yield great results! With how happy I am with the (almost) finished product, and how extremely well this FO behaved (no problems AT ALL!), I would absolutely purchase it again, and can't wait to see what my customers think!

"Poor scent retention in CP"

COMMENTS: It smells beautiful. It does not hold. I haven't tried it in any other product except CP so I can't speak for lotions and such, but in CP it didn't even last until the end of 6 weeks. I imagine it would be well worth using in MP.

Not sure if anyone else has random thoughts like me lol, but this fragrance is such a nice spring/summer fun scent. Absolutely worth it, you cannot beat the price either. I love love loved it!!!

"Smells Like the real thing"

COMMENTS: I received a 2 ounce bottle of this peony fragrance oil. I was excited to use it because it smelled exactly like the peonies from my garden, fresh, sweet and floral. I made a small batch of CP soap. Smelled amazing. I experienced no ricing, acceleration or discoloration. This is a slow moving fragrance, so you have loads of time to do some lovely soap designs. It's perfect for new soap makers. I'm looking forward to soaping with this fragrance again, and adding it to other products.

COMMENTS: Love this FO so much I decided to do a trio & offer it in soap, lotion & bath bomb combo. The scent is delicate & definitely not overpowering. I tend to use close to the maximum usage rates in my soaps & the scent has not faded at all. As with all florals, mild acceleration. But definitely workable as long as your prepared ahead of time.

	"A Great Smell For Older Women"
COMMENTS: I have yet to try to sell these but I think this smell is great for older ladies. Something about it just smells like my grandmother and some type of perfume that she wore although I can't remember exactly what it was. My 7 year old said it stinks but of course he only wanted to smell the Chocolate Drizzle or Dreamsicle. 7 year old boys are not fond of grandmother smells.
