Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some CP soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold cavities at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

COMMENTS: As always: an excellent mold. I'm now the proud owner of quite a few of these basic rectangles. They're the first soap molds I ever bought, and I still use them all the time. One of the nicest things about this mold for melt and pour, is how easy this shape is to wrap!

"Individual Rectangle Bars of M&P"
COMMENTS: I gave this an "average" review because the description and picture do not reflect that what would be considered the "bottom" of the soap mold is not as large as the "top" (i.e., the bottom is not 2.25 X 3.5). Since I use these molds to create soaps with "paper embeds" that are made to size, it will not work. I would have to make the embed much smaller and the graphics do not show up well when you make them that much smaller. The description needs to reflect this; I did send a message as to this problem and received no response. Also, this rectangle mold used to be made in the "heavy duty white plastic" that held up well; this one is made with the "clear plastic" and is not as heavy duty. I rely on descriptions being accurate and am not pleased when they are not. I have been purchasing from WSP for many years and appreciate the ability to do so.
WSP Response:
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are updating the information for this mold to reflect the correct size. The white mold that you referenced was a different manufacturer not a Milky Way mold. Milky Way molds have always been in a clear plastic.
