The two-pound tray is the perfect size container for projects making (8) 4 oz. bars of soap. The lid allows for unused soap to easily be stored for future use.

This product conforms to the reporting requirements of California Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986). We are conforming to the regulation by reporting the existence, or lack thereof, of ingredients deemed reportable by the above mentioned regulations via a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), in Section 15 "Regulatory Information." Ingredients from Natural Food Sources (NFS) and are exempt from reporting in accordance with Title 27, § 25501(a).
MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.
MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.
ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!
CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.

COMMENTS: I usually get the regular honey mp and saw this as well. I like how it look a little richer in color. So I gave it a try. I really like the soap. Again love the deeper color and it didn't smell like beer. In my opinon it has a sweet smell to it. Great lather. Think I'm going to replace my honey with this one. If your up for trying something new go for it

COMMENTS: I bought this product to for my husband in his shaving mug. He loves it! It lathers great, leaves his skin soft. No need to add scent - love the honey smell. Would recommend.

I Love how this preformed, melts quickly and doesn't skin up immediately, I had working time to add my additives and fragrance (if i decided to scent it). The scent alone is intoxicating love it. "Smells nothing like beer to us!"
COMMENTS: This base smells NOTHING like beer. My husband and I were so shocked. We ever tried adding a beer fragrance to it - and that didn't help. We do not recommend this base!

"The best so fa..."
COMMENTS: I picked this by mistake on one of my orders. when i received i was so mad at myself for picking the wrong honey MP because of the beer in it. my customers where asking of honey soap and thats when i decided to try it..... i just fell in love with the scent and the thickness, no need to add any fragrance as it comes with a natural calming scent to it. my customers and i just love it ever since and it has an amazing bubbles.

"Great fragrance by itself"
COMMENTS: This was one of my newest additions to my line of MP soap and I was a little hesitant, as customers are sometimes fickle about beer/ale based products. I immediately fell in love with its smooth melt, and especially its fragrance alone. I have added fragrances in other batches, but for the majority of the time, I leave this one as it is, and the customers love it!

"My first review on this site...."
COMMENTS: This is my first review on this site and not because I'm a first time shopper here - but more that I really love this melt and pour base and wanted to review it. When cut - it's a little more sticky in the center than other melt/ pour bases but the feel, the scent, and the lather is incredible. I made Oatmeal, Milk, & Honey - honeycomb bars, massage bars, sugar scrub cubes, and bath truffles with this and WSP Oatmeal soap base - I didn't need to add scent to the honey ale beer portion as it has it's own wonderful scent that adds something so special to the oatmeal, milk, & honey. I will forever keep this in stock!!
COMMENTS: This was perfect for what I needed! I was hesitant at first about the beer scent, but it’s what my customers wanted. I love the smell! I’ve already ordered more!

COMMENTS: I wanted to try this base because of the appeal. I do mainly CP soap but dabble with MP. This base smells great on it's own. I did a fragranced batch but I may just use as is and not fragrance. The soap itself has a great lather and feel and very little sweating! I'm here now to buy more!

"OH MY GOODNESS"
COMMENTS: I'm not sure what I was expecting when I bought this base, but any expectation would have far been exceeded! I'm just now making a loaf with it, and the natural scent is AMAZING. I won't even need to add fragrance to this loaf. I'm sure it will be fun to experiment with adding complimenting scents later. I'm horrible at describing scent, but this has a very natural, fresh, lovely-sweet ale scent. Not heavy at all, with the perfect balance. So far, I don't smell beer (as in cheap beer) ... which is a plus for me. It isn't girly at all, but men and women both will love it. If you haven't tried it, it is well worth it!

COMMENTS: I love this soap! The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because mine smells like apples not honey. I ordered Honey and the packaging said honey but it does not smell like honey. I think they mispackaged this one, but I will still use it!

COMMENTS: I'm not a beer drinker so I can't comment on the beer smell. Can definitely smell the honey though. A little difficult to get off knife when cutting - stuck. Just melted and poured into mold - no additives. Beautiful amber color - clarity is fantastic. Going to sell it at an upcoming soap party and see the reaction.

"Fantastic sophisticated addition to our line."
COMMENTS: I've used this as a base for a new line of soaps. It melts so fast I couldn't believe it (I double boil). Love the scent and my hands really felt and smelled great after using it. Cooled down relatively faster than most seem to--maybe that's our current weather (cold).
So far, I've paired it with Oatmeal Stout and Jingle Bell Ale, but I have plans...big plans...my local market is saturated with soap makers selling their goods, but I really think that this base has given me a really good edge on them for this holiday season!!!

"Strong smell not low odor. "
COMMENTS: It says "Very low odor" but I could smell it when I opened my shipping box. Very strong beer scent. Haven't found a fragrance yet I like that mixes well with the overpowering beer smell.
However, if you want a strong BEER soap for real beer fans, this is for you.
