Product Details

Purple Passion Mica Powder is a shimmering purple cosmetic powder that is safe for use in cosmetics. This purple mica has pink undertones, and can be used in mp soap, lip balm, lip scrubs, and more.

The pictured lotus blossom is clear melt and pour soap colored at a rate of 1 tsp. per pound of soap. Color will appear pastel and less vibrant in opaque melt and pour soap bases.

"What does it mean when a mica is not CP soap stable? Does this mean it morphs, and may or may not return to its original color? Or, should it not be used in CP at all, for some other reason?"

COMMENTS: This makes the most gorgeous bright, warm purple in MP soaps. I tried using it in bath fizzies but you need to use waaaay too much to get it to even tint the water. Definitely better used in soaps.

	"Lighter than the photo"
COMMENTS: As I don't think this is a bad mica, I think that there are much better ones out there. This one is a bit lighter than shown in the photo. If I had to choose a purple, I always go with Purple Galaxy Mica but it was sold out so I tried this instead. I'll continue to choose the Purple Galaxy Mica. I felt like I had to use a lot more of this mica to achieve a similar, darker color.

"Beautiful color"

COMMENTS: I used this today in a lotion balm I make to match the lavender basil scent. Never used a mica before, and was so pleased at how little it takes to make a big impact. I will order other Mica powders and highlights for products.
