Sage Powder produces a natural green color in soap/cosmetics and has a natural sage scent. It is used to add color, scent and enriching properties. This natural colorant works great in bath salts and MP and CP/HP soap!

Directions:

DIRECTIONS: Incorporate into formula, amount as desired. Common use levels are 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per pound of base. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining. Not recommended for leave on products.

COMMENTS: I use this to color a portion of my Lemongrass Sage soap, and I also use it to do a pencil line. It's a very fine powder that mixes easily into oil. Smells great too.

COMMENTS: has been a great seller - added to HP hemp oil soap - customers love it and so do we we gained the best natural green ever w/ sage powder - just beautiful! so glad we tried this one will be ordering again - sure to keep it on hand always gave us no trouble in any of our recipes - thought the MP might be a bit gritty but it's smooth and super lovely - just absolutely lovely - flies off shelf - customers seem to think it's something special too.

"Exactly What I Needed"

COMMENTS: This sage powder smells great (by great I mean FRESH). I use it in one of my bath salt blends which became my best seller after the addition of the sage to the formula. Everyone loves it. It makes the water a pretty faint green as well which I love.

"Great Colorant"

COMMENTS: I try to opt out of too many dyes in my products so this worked out really well as a natural colorant. The color is still getting darker, as I was expecting it to(after a week it was a slightly green, beige like or olive color), but the powder did get clumpy in my soap so I had to really work at it to break up the clumps. After the soap had set I did find dark spots(like tiny speckles, not large) which is fine for my soap but is something to consider if you're wanting a smooth, even color. I paired this with a sage oil scent in a butter bar, the scent throw isn't over powering and smells great.

COMMENTS: Living in Montana, Sage is very popular in many ways. I use this in fizzing bath spas and in my Safe and Sweetgrass soaps and have never been disappointed with the results. It has a natural scent that adds depth to the fragrance oils used, but not overpowering to where it would challenge other scents. LOVE IT!

"Wonderful addition for an earthy look"

COMMENTS: In the bag, I thought the powder was way too fine to make much of a difference but I made a cold process soap with this Sage powder and loved it - the sage appeared like greenish brown flakes and gave the soap an overall light green color, making it look "earthy" but not "dirty." I stick blended it at light trace and absolutely loved how it came out -so much so that I'm sorry I didn't make a bigger batch - but I will be returning to this sage powder for sure. Nice, quality product

"Smells Wonderful"

COMMENTS: A lovely powdered sage. Produces a beautiful green-brown speckled color in cold processed soap. Mixes well, not clumpy at all. The smell is so wonderful and pungent, a really awesome additive. Highly recommended.
