Maximum Temp Note: If a base is heated over “Maximum Heating Temperature” for greater than 5 minutes the current preservative system can be rendered inactive and additional preservative is required to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria and fungus. If more than 5% additives are incorporated into the base, the current preservative system will be diluted and additional preservative will be required.
Maximum Fragrance Note: Some fragrance and essential oils may thin or thicken this base. You will want to conduct performance testing to ensure your final product performs as you desire.

Directions:
On low heat, warm base to 120º F. Add cosmetic grade fragrance and FDA approved color additive. Scoop or pipe into container. Allow to return to room temperature and apply top. Label per FDA label requirements.
Note: Amount of fragrance cannot exceed IFRA guidelines (listed for each fragrance on this website) and should not exceed this products “Maximum Fragrance Load” of 4%. If your lotion does not remain white when you rub it into your skin then you have used too much color. If product significantly thins you have used too much fragrance.

"Simply LOVE it!"
COMMENTS: This lotion is true to its name! It's smooth just like silk. Opening the bucket was a hassle to open, but it's well worth it once you get it open. So far I just added cranberry fragrance to it. I didn't heat it up or do anything fancy, I just scooped some out of the bucket and added the fragrance oil. It came out perfect, and held the fragrance very well. It makes your skin feel moisturized(not greasy), smooth and satin silky. I definitely will putchase more, especially when it's on sale again.

"BUCKET EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO OPEN"
COMMENTS: First, the bucket the cream comes in is extremely difficult to open. I almost injured my hand trying to open it. My husband was struggling to open it. Finally, he did but not before he almost injured himself as well. What is going on? Forget it if you suffer from arthritis. For this reason, I will not be purchasing this cream again. The instructions seems to suggest on the bucket to use a screwdriver. It is faint, so I could be wrong. But seriously, it was a struggle to open it. Almost hurt myself with the screwdriver which I had to stop using. The cream is nice and not greasy, but it does have a faint odor like (Manteca, the kind you buy in supermarkets that our parents used long ago) or an oily type oil odor. It’s tolerable however, the odor stays on your skin. Best to add a scent. For someone sensitive to odors this may not be a good choice. I’m disappointed in this because of the odor a d the difficult bucket lid. Not a product I would buy. Shame too, because the cream feels nice but the bucket and the odor has to go. Waste of money for me. Cant sell this if I don’t like it myself.

COMMENTS: Just purchased this product and made some sample bottles to get feedback from friends, aka potential buyers. This lotion did not disappoint! It was luxurious out of the gallon tub and with just a little tweaking (tapioca starch, fragrance and manuka honey extract) I had a signature lotion. I was a little nervous warming it up since I am new to this but it reacted well to heat, blended the wet and powder ingredients well and thickened back up once cool in bottles. This is thick enough for jars. Overall a great lotion with a high end feel.

"Love Love Love this lotion base."
COMMENTS: This base is my best seller. It is super thick but absorbs quickly. It feels really good and hydrating on the skin. It holds fragrance and color very well. This lotion is so thick it doesn't melt easily so do it in short bursts or it will separate. Also, you can't pump it effectively. Works best in jars, but tottle squeeze bottles work fairly well.

"Skin feels silky smooth but.."
COMMENTS: i really love the way this lotion feels and it's thick texture. My only issue is that it is not moisturizing my skin. I used it after a shower and a few minutes later my skin looked like i did not put anything on it. i do tend to be a little on the dry side but i was not expecting this result. I do not think this will work well for customers with dry skin. I think i will try another base and hopefully it will work better for dry skin. This could be used for "normal" skin.. I will say this base accepts fragrance very well. i used sunflower FO, smells great.

"Great Lotion Base!"
COMMENTS: After testing numerous different bases, this lotion base is the best I have come across. It is definitely true to its name and leaves your skin feeling like satin & silk. I would describe this as being a thicker lotion base but, not thick like a body butter. It is a happy mix in between and absolutely perfect for what both my customer's and myself have been looking for. Everyone including myself have reported their skin transforming and actually feeling moisturized for the first time in awhile. It does not go on greasy and skin immediately absorbs any excess not fully rubbed in. It is almost as if it helps your skin have that happy glow after using it just a couple times. I have had zero issues melting it down simply in the microwave so that I can add my scent into it. It holds scent well from all the scent options I have tried thus far. A couple of months later and it still smells as strong as it did when I made it. I have not added color to it so I cannot report on that. But, it pipes nicely into my containers helping make it less messy for packaging. I will definitely be purchasing more! Thank you WSP for such an excellent quality product!

"Satin & Silk Lotion"
COMMENTS: Straight out of the bucket, I thought the base felt a little waxy. I tried a 4 oz batch with the recommended 4% fragrance oil and a smidgen of mica for light color and loved it. I would say to be careful of overheating, this base softened at 20 seconds in my microwave and took the fragrance and mica very well. If you overheat, it will turn to liquid and as it cools, it appears like cottage cheese that you have to whip out with a whisk. Do not overheat, it just needs slight warming, if any at all.

COMMENTS: I just love this lotion. I order 16 onces, just to try it loved it. Is so creamy and rich. It has no smell so adding essential oils and fragrances will complement this body cream. Is more like a heavy rich cream. Will be ordering more !

COMMENTS: This base is a winner...my mom is super picky about lotion and this base passed the mom test. :) It is smooth, silky, absorbent...all around awesome. It takes fragrance like a champ and is very easy to work with. It is thick so getting it into bottles is interesting. It pours easily while warm but it cools quickly and then gets a bit thick to get through a funnel easily. So, work fast and have patience...because this base is worth it!!!

"Great base lotion to moisturize and protect skin"
COMMENTS: This is my fist attempt at providing lotion based products to my customers. I came back to Wholesale supplies plus to find my base because I knew the best recommendation would be from past and current customers. They were right! This is a 5 star product. The combination of shea, coconut, aloe and sunflower oil is what my customers need to protect their skin from the hot Arizona sun. My customers are already putting in orders for their favorite essential/fragrance oils to be added. I can't wait to order more.

"Good lotion "
COMMENTS: I may like the Goat Milk and Honey just a tad bit more but this is a really nice lotion too. It definitely has more slip to it. Just add your favorite fragrance and you're good to go! Non-greasy and absorbs nicely while moisturizing your skin. It's a win!

"FANTABULOUS"
COMMENTS: I used this mixed into a botanical and fruit extracts face and body mask with extraordinary results. My clients love it, and they all say the same thing--"My face is so soft after using this mask!" I'm also thinking about adding it to WSP's Foaming Bath Whip, along with other ingredients, to make a face and body scrub.

"Soft, silky lotion"
COMMENTS: This is, by far, my favorite lotion base offered by your company. My skin feels super soft, but not greasy. Customers love how their skin feels with this product. It absorbs fast and doesn't leave skin feeling greasy. it is easy to scent and color. It's creamy and thick, but not so much so that you can't squeeze the product out of a bottle. I highly recommend this product.

"Amazingly perfect!"
COMMENTS: This is the greatest lotion! No greasiness! Soaks into your skin moisturizing it and keeping it soft for quite a long time. It's thick and creamy, so adding fragrance oils and/or color do not thin it out too much. Definitely my favorite and the name is exactly spot on.
