I Recommend This Product!
"I was hoping WSP would carry this! "
COMMENTS:  So funny thing- awhile back I said to myself, "I really wish WSP would start carrying SFIC bases." Lo & behold, here I find they now carrying them (THANK YOU)! I don't actually make MP soap, but I do make MP embeds to use in & on top of my CP batches, and after trying a myriad of different bases, I've found this SFIC "LCP" base to be the superior base for that purpose. It really IS low-sweat, which is super important for me in that I live in humid FL, and use this base for embeds atop CP soap that must be cured & can't be wrapped right away. It's a very hardy base too... I can insulate my CP batches, and even if the soap heats up during saponification, the embeds made with this base can stand up to the heat & have never re-melted on me, as other bases have. When making embeds, this base melts down effortlessly, accepts colorants beautifully & sets up FAST, so I don't have to wait very long for my embeds to be ready to unmold. This base also unmolds with ease- Doesn't matter if I use a silicone mold or a plastic candy mold, embeds made with this base just pop right out, no fuss, no fight! Another thing I really love about this base is that it's not the least bit sticky, tacky or rubbery to the touch. Embeds come out rock solid with this base, and both consistency & lather most closely resemble the lather & feel of my CP bars than any other MP base I've tried, making this the perfect accompaniment to my CP soaps. If you're looking for a MP base that will make the best MP embeds for your CP projects, give this one a try! For me, it's the only base I'll use for that purpose & highly recommend it!
