Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together. Stand the mold in a sturdy measuring cup. Slowly pour melted soap into mold, and allow soap to harden. Open mold and remove soap. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed mini column into a loaf. Embed multiple mini columns for a unique design.
Cold Process Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together. Stand the mold in a sturdy measuring cup. Slowly pour traced soap into mold. After at least 24 hours, open mold and remove soap with gloved hands. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.

"You need to have a little patience with this mold"
COMMENTS: These molds are a little challenging at first. There is a trick to getting them together to make them seal, but after I figured it out, not bad. Binder clips are needed to make sure the edges stay sealed, some batter will still leak out (not out of the mold, just inside the edge of the seal) and the batter needs to be very fluid to pour. The soap star columns are really cute, they unmold easily. I'm so glad to have found a mold for stars this tiny and the challenge is worth it!

"So Cute!"
COMMENTS: I love playing with these embed molds. They are a great way to make use of batch leftovers. Easy to un-mold and I have very little or no leakage with them. Just had to find the correct pouring temp to keep the base from being too thin and having it seep through seams.
WSP Response:
We suggest pouring soap around 130°F into any column mold.
