"Even if you think you dont like strawberry!" |
| COMMENTS: This one will change your mind! It smells great and tastes great in lip balm. I think this is my favorite flavor so far. As always a little goes a long way. I used the recommended amount in my balms and this flavor far exceeded my expectation. In fact this was the last of 7 flavors that I used because I am not a fan of strawberry scents or flavors, but I should have used this one first. It smells and tastes delicious!

| COMMENTS: This is a nice flavor oil, but not my favorite. It's not as sweet as it sounds, but still smells really nice. I do wish it came in a smaller size than 2 ounces though- I'm a very small-time maker and really only need a few milliliters.

| COMMENTS: Ive tried twice now and had to throw out both batches. Careful to not use too much. HORRIBLY bitter . Just nasty. Didnt add any sweetness what so ever. Wish I knew of one that worked. Tired of plain balm.

| COMMENTS: I really did not like how Sugared Strawberries Sweetened Flavor Oil smelled out of the bottle. It reminds me of strawberry cough drops. I went ahead and tried it at 1.5% in my lip balm and the medicinal smell went away and it now smells like Strawberry Soda. Like all the flavor oils I've tried it doesn't actually make my lip balms taste like anything but the ones I made with this flavor oil smell delicious. This flavor oil did not make my lip balms sweet or bitter.

| COMMENTS: I love this flavor oil. It has a natural strawberry fragrance and flavor. I especially like that the sweetener is pre-mixed with the fragrance. I have used separate sweeteners before and they are hard to work with. I know some people have referenced the bitterness. I think it's more pronounced when the product is hot. I try to add this oil right before pouring. Usually by the time the balm or gloss has cooled, it just smells/tastes like sweet strawberry.

| COMMENTS: I use about 3.5% by volume and it smells great and doesn't have any of the bitterness some people are experiencing. I am very careful to add this at the lowest temp possible before the balm solidifies in the pot. It usually does cause the balm to cool a little and harden. I just reheat over my double boiler for a few seconds and I'm good to pour.
