"very true tangerine"

COMMENTS: I love tangerine essential oil, and this is a nice one. I've been using it in soaps, sometimes mixed with lemon and sometimes with rose essential oil. I love the combo enough to also make a body spray with it, wonderful for summer.

"Holds Strong During Cure"

COMMENTS: I used this along with lemongrass in CP salt bars and the scent is still very strong after three weeks of cure time. It also turns the soap a very pretty light orange color with no added colorant needed. I would recommend if looking for a citrus EO that will stay in CP.

"Am I getting what I'm paying for?"

COMMENTS: The tangerine oil smells amazing so that is what gets the star rating. I ordered 2 oz and planned to use the whole bottle in a soap recipe. But upon weighing it I found out that I was missing 0.40 ounces of oil! I was only given 1.60 ounces of oil. I am missing almost half of an ounce! To me, that is a lot. I thought I found a gem here with WSP.....great prices and free shipping. Now I'm wondering if I'm really getting what I'm paying for or if I should start shopping elsewhere. Not super impressed right Now and this is not the first time I've noticed that I don't have the full amount of oil that I should.

WSP Response:

All our fragrances are poured by volume, not weight. If you pour the fragrance oil into a measuring cup, you would have 2 oz. of liquid. Some fragrances are thicker than others. If we weighed them, you may get a significantly lesser amount in one fragrance than another. They are all poured by volume so for each fragrance you will receive fluid ounces, not by weight.

COMMENTS: I LOVE WSP'S tangerine essential oil! I use it in many of my natural soaps because it has a stronger, fresher aroma than a sweet orange essential oil and "stays" much longer in the bars. I highly recommend this tangerine! Word of advice...use it up by the recommended date because it is a citrus oil and it does lose it's color and scent after a few months.

COMMENTS: This EO is not only wonderful quality, it also happens to be the only Orangish smelling fragrance I can stand. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I cannot stand any of the Oranges in either EO or FO. They don't smell like an orange to me. They are harsh & just too much. Having said that, I've not tried any of WSP'S Orange(s)/Bergamot/Petitgrain/Mandarin, etc., whether EO or FO.

"Smells great"

COMMENTS: This smells just like a real tangerine. I love it. I put this in a blend with other essential oils and it still gave off that great tangerine note. However, it did fade some around a month after the soap was made so I will have to alter the recipe to include more of the tangerine and less of the other oils. Never-the-less, I will continue to buy this tangerine as I just can't get enough of it.

COMMENTS: This is one of those "must have EO's" it smells great and is highly affordable. I've noticed that it does not hold up too well if you use too little, especially in CP Soap, but because it can cause sun sensitivity using more than the recommended usage is not a good idea. It makes a great blending oil, and I think it's lovely in Room Sprays :-)

COMMENTS: This Crafter's Choice Tangerine EO is the nicest I've tried. Some I've used have a "smoky" smell to them that I don't like, & I don't like their fragrance after blending with other EO's. This one is a clean, balanced Tangerine. We use it in several lotion formulas, scrub, & a natural soy massage oil candle. I'll use this one from now on!!

COMMENTS: This makes lovely soap and smells great but fades, as citrus is prone too do. I added Litsea Cubea and it helped anchor the scent. I mix with lemon and orange for "Tangerine Tango, popular with customers. I made a laundry bar with this and it faded away. Will continue to experiment to find the right combination for cold process soaps.
